:Group Conversation 28543): Tue Mar 17 18:39:54 2009
[18:39] Murska: 'kay, I'm ready.
[18:39] Shadowcaller: Okay
[18:40] Shadowcaller: Happy is the narrator today I think
[18:40] Murska: 'kay
[18:41] Happy: okay. Happy and Cessie have just returned to the tower after seeing the worm eaten child
[18:41] Murska: I feel like I'm fleeing responsibility by never narrating myself. But I really think that the game is better if one of you two is. -.-'
[18:41] Happy: Where is Aegnor?
[18:41] Murska: With you, I was.
[18:42] Happy: did you read yesterday's chat?
[18:42] Murska: yup
[18:43] Happy: okay. So then you know why Happy and Cessie are emotionally messed up.
[18:43] Murska: yup
[18:46] Happy: okay… what are you doing then?
[18:47] Murska: (sorry, got money)
[18:48] Happy: woohoo! money!
[18:48] Murska: Um. Aegnor was walking back to the tower with you two, silent.
[18:48] Murska: (brb gonna go place the money into a safe place)
[18:50] Murska: (placed)
[18:50] Murska: (We need to get this started. Someone do something. :P)
[18:51] Happy: Happy: "I want to leave as soon as possible."
[18:51] Murska: 'Yeah, we better.'
[18:51] Shadowcaller: "So… this is it then?"
[18:52] Shadowcaller: "We are really going into war."
[18:52] Murska: 'Yeah. And we will come back, after winning it.'
[18:53] Shadowcaller: "How can you be so sure, the chances of winning are thin…"
[18:54] Shadowcaller: "We are facing an army of undead, lead by a powerful host of druids, some more powerful then we have already met."
[18:54] Shadowcaller: "And what do we have?"
[18:54] Murska: 'Thinking of losing doens't help.'
[18:54] Happy: Happy looks up at Aegnor with a flash of a smile. "But they are facing us."
[18:55] Shadowcaller: "I'm sorry if I can't share your positive attitude…" *Cessie wipes away a tear*
[18:56] Happy: "Cessie, we'll win because we have to. Because there is no other acceptable outcome."
[18:57] Shadowcaller: "I don't want to discuss this… but I'm sure the druids are thinking the very same thing."
[18:58] Happy: (phone)
[19:00] Happy: "Who is going with us? Just Ai?"
[19:01] Shadowcaller: "I don't know…"
[19:01] Shadowcaller: "Depends I guess…"
[19:03] Murska: 'I don't think they'd do well at sneaking. The warrior would rush them head on and Kilia is best used here to protect the innocents.'
[19:04] Shadowcaller: "But what use is she here when they arrive?"
[19:05] Murska: 'Her specialty is supporting and protecting others. Not sneaking, distracting and killing. At least I think so.'
[19:06] Shadowcaller: "We could use her in one of the other villages."
[19:06] Murska: 'If you think so, go ahead and ask her to come with us then.'
[19:07] Happy: "She and Ai will argue incessantly though"
[19:07] Shadowcaller: "Maybe we should split up?"
[19:07] Shadowcaller: "One group going to the town, the other going to the army."
[19:07] Murska: 'We're outnumbered and outgunned as it is. Splitting up will make it too tough to kill the druids'
[19:09] Shadowcaller: "We are supposed to sneak attack anyway, not going face to face."
[19:09] Happy: "I think we should stay together."
[19:09] Happy: "But leave Kilia behind."
[19:10] Murska: 'And once our sneak attack goes off, what do we do with the rest of the druids and their army if we don't have the firepower to even escape? No, let's stay together.'
[19:10] Shadowcaller: "We could order her to go to the town by herself?"
[19:12] Shadowcaller: "We got maps, she can't get lost."
[19:12] Happy: "Do you think she would survive by herself?"
[19:12] Shadowcaller: "Well, as long she avoid too much trouble, then yes."
[19:13] Shadowcaller: "I doubt any of the servants are easy to kill."
[19:13] Murska: 'And what would she do once she reaches the town?'
[19:15] Shadowcaller: ""Well… I figured she could help them, they are the ones getting attacked anyway."
[19:15] Murska: 'She won't be able to hold the line without a warrior doing the actual fighting.
[19:16] Happy: "Unless she and Kelaron went together."
[19:16] Shadowcaller: "Thats a good idea."
[19:16] Murska: 'Do you think they'd cooperate?'
[19:17] Happy: "And would Caster be willing to leave his Tower undefended?"
[19:17] Shadowcaller: "Well, their gods are not that different really… just a few things."
[19:17] Shadowcaller: "They are not marching against him."
[19:17] Shadowcaller: "And its not undefended anyway."
[19:18] Murska: 'There was at least one scout here already. And nobody would rely on just one scout.'
[19:19] Shadowcaller: "So… you think they are going to strike the tower?"
[19:19] Shadowcaller: "Since that what we would want to achive anyway."
[19:20] Murska: 'Let's face it: We can't beat their army head on, wherever they strike.'
[19:20] Murska: 'We have to kill the druids anyway.'
[19:21] Shadowcaller: "Well, we know that they are going to strike at the village, I feel its a waste to have some of our most powerful allies just waiting here."
[19:22] Shadowcaller: "Unless we should try to make druids go here."
[19:22] Happy: "I think you're right. It's more important to defend the village than one Tower, however magical."
[19:23] Happy: "You think we could lure the druids here somehow? Cause them to bypass the village?"
[19:23] Murska: 'By showing a weakness.'
[19:23] Shadowcaller: "Well if we kill some of them, they might go here, for revenge."
[19:23] Shadowcaller: "Remember, they are divided right now."
[19:23] Murska: 'They are attacking the village to get more powerful.'
[19:24] Murska: 'If they don't need that power…'
[19:24] Shadowcaller: "Yeah, so they would be weaker if they attack directly."#
[19:24] Happy: "What did you have in mind, Aegnor?"
[19:24] Murska: 'We still cannot hope to defeat a direct attack.'
[19:25] Murska: 'I have nothing concrete but we need to make them think the tower is nearly undefended, without them noticing a trap.'
[19:26] Shadowcaller: "It looks kind of undefended right now, most of its defences are magical anyway."
[19:26] Murska: 'But they know that. They are probably even overestimating our power.'
[19:27] Shadowcaller: "Most likely yes."
[19:28] Happy: "So how do we feed them false information?"
[19:28] Shadowcaller: "Ai cna use illusion."
[19:28] Shadowcaller: *can
[19:29] Shadowcaller: "Maybe we can use illusional armies?"
[19:30] Murska: 'Illusion of the servants arguing and leaving?'
[19:31] Shadowcaller: "Perhaps, I don't think they know about the servants thought."
[19:32] Happy: "Or we could allow one of us to be captured and give them false information when questioned. But then we couldn't be sure they wouldn't just kill us for the corpse."
[19:32] Murska: 'No!'
[19:33] Shadowcaller: "I don't think that would be such a good idea really."
[19:34] Shadowcaller: "From all we know, they are going to kill us the moment they see us."
[19:34] Murska: 'No. I won't allow any of us being captured by them.'
[19:35] Shadowcaller: "So… how are we going to do then?"
[19:36] Happy: "I don't know what an illusion can do, if we aren't sure when they are watching. Maybe we should stay with the first plan."
[19:36] Shadowcaller: "That is?"
[19:37] Happy: "The three of us and Ai on the assassination mission while Kelaron and Kilia go to the village."
[19:38] Happy: "Guerilla warfare, continually strike and withdraw whenever we see an opportunity."
[19:38] Murska: 'Evacuating the village would be the only chance to save them, but I don't know if we can keep Kelaron from attacking the enemy head on.'
[19:38] Happy: "Where would we evacuate them too?"
[19:38] Happy: *to
[19:38] Murska: 'Here.'
[19:38] Shadowcaller: "Well, as long as they don't kill civilians in front of him…"
[19:39] Murska: 'How do you think he'll react once he sees a monster created by sewing together the bodies of innocents?'
[19:40] Shadowcaller: "Well ttey need that village to make it don't they?"
[19:40] Shadowcaller: *they
[19:40] Happy: "Maybe he would serve as a distraction?"
[19:40] Shadowcaller: "So I doubt it would be attacking already."
[19:40] Murska: 'They just need the corpses, right?'
[19:41] Shadowcaller: "Yes, but some of the corpses are being used at the altar right?"
[19:42] Murska: 'Anyway. It's probably the best chance we have. Just get Kilia to lead the innocents to the tower if Kelaron goes berserk.'
[19:43] Happy: "And we'll be where?"
[19:44] Murska: 'Killing things and spreading chaos. Isn't that what we know how to do best?'
[19:44] Happy: Happy smiles
[19:44] Shadowcaller: "You maybe…"
[19:44] Happy: "The villagers will need to be led around the swamp
[19:45] Shadowcaller: "Well, we give Kilia a map, she can lead them around it."
[19:46] Shadowcaller: "Too bad we don't have enough time to cleanse it…"
[19:47] Murska: 'It's a pity we don't have any form of fast transport. Mobility is important when the alternative is getting caught and dying.'
[19:47] Shadowcaller: "Caster did say he had somethign to help us travel fast right?"
[19:48] Happy: yes, but he didn't say what
[19:48] Murska: (he did? Aegnor must've forgotten that. :P)
[19:48] Shadowcaller: "Lets go ask him then."
[19:49] Murska: (deja-vu feeling… :P)
[19:49] Murska: They get going.
[19:50] Happy: into the tower?
[19:50] Murska: To find Caster, yep.
[19:51] Happy: (SC, what was Caster going to do?)
[19:51] Shadowcaller: (I had not made that up yet, I leaved it open for other narrators)
[19:51] Happy: (um… *thinks*)
[19:52] Happy: (ideas anyone?)
[19:53] Murska: (I suppose it'd be a spell to somehow move us closer, maybe a teleport, but unusable for continued quick movement from one place to another)
[19:53] Happy: (or maybe a haste type spell?)
[19:53] Shadowcaller: (He did say he did not have a teleport:)
[19:53] Shadowcaller: *. )
[19:53] Murska: (Horses with a magical haste spell or item on them?)
[19:54] Shadowcaller: (Sure, should we pick up that disguse belt and the sword by the way?)
[19:54] Shadowcaller: (There was other magical artifacts in the tower as well.)
[19:55] Murska: (well sure. We don't know of any other artifacts that could be useful and I think we decided the sword was too dangerous to use tho)
[19:55] Happy: (okay, how about an ooc accounting for what we have?)
[19:55] Shadowcaller: (Sure, we still got the bukkit.)
[19:56] Shadowcaller: (The kazzo, the rock…)
[19:56] Happy: (Nigma has bukkit)
[19:56] Murska: (and each of us is equipped with weaponry, myself enough to be used as an armor. :P)
[19:57] Shadowcaller: (I only got a knife, that I hardly can use.)
[19:57] Shadowcaller: (And my rock.)
[19:57] Happy: (but your magic has been improved)
[19:57] Shadowcaller: (Indeed, I don't need weapons really)
[19:57] Murska: (Oh, still no rock powerups. -.-)
[19:58] Shadowcaller: (Maybe I can find one now:P)
[19:58] Murska: (Caster would probably be interested of the rock if he knew of it)
[19:59] Happy: (Is everyone okay with skipping the part where we explain the plan to the servants?)
[19:59] Murska: (yeah. That'd be once too many. :P)
[20:01] Shadowcaller: (aww… but if you want it, then sure.)
[20:01] Happy: So… you go to see Caster and tell him the plan.
[20:03] Shadowcaller: We do I guess
[20:04] Happy: And his travel plan is horses + haste
[20:04] Shadowcaller: And ask him for magical artifacts
[20:04] Happy: Which SC will have to do, because I haven't invented any :P
[20:04] Shadowcaller: (I wnat ancient egyptain laserbeams!)
[20:05] Shadowcaller: *want
[20:05] Murska: (Well if you get those, then where's my jetpack laserguitar?'
[20:06] Shadowcaller: (So I'm supposed to make up magical artifacts with vaguley estblished powers?)
[20:06] Happy: (okay, what artifacts do you want?)
[20:07] Shadowcaller: (Come one, narrators are not supposed to give players waht they want, then it would be all too easy.)
[20:07] Shadowcaller: *what
[20:07] Happy: (I didn't say you'd *get* it, now did I?)
[20:07] Shadowcaller: (True)
[20:08] Murska: (You know what I want. ;))
[20:08] Shadowcaller: (Don't do it!)
[20:08] Murska: (Musical instruments of arcane power! :P)
[20:10] Shadowcaller: (Well, should I help you come up with stuff happy?)
[20:10] Shadowcaller: (I like it more when narrators come up with things themselves)
[20:10] Happy: (okay, well give me a few minutes then :P)
[20:11] Shadowcaller: (Okay, brain storm!)
[20:21] Happy: okay, thought of the first one. :P
[20:21] Happy: i guess it takes me ten minutes per item
[20:21] Shadowcaller: The first one? o.O
[20:21] Shadowcaller: Hehe
[20:21] Shadowcaller: Well, they have to be good items atleast

[20:22] Happy: no lasers though
[20:22] Shadowcaller: (Aww…)
[20:22] Murska: Plasma beams?
[20:32] Happy: Okay
[20:33] Murska: Okay? Plasma beams? Yay! :P
[20:35] Happy: Caster: "While you were preparing, I had my students rummage around in the vault. We found a few more items that might be helpful to you. Cessie, this bears the emblem of your house. I'm not sure how long we've had it." He hands you a wand. "It has some spells stored in it. I'm not sure how many or what type."
[20:36] Shadowcaller: She looks at it a bit doubfully "It was a long time since I saw this symbol… I don't know what to say really."
[20:36] Shadowcaller: "Thank you I guess."
[20:37] Happy: Cessie can feel the magic in it when she takes it.
[20:38] Shadowcaller: "It feels.. like home."
[20:41] Shadowcaller: SHe dose a little bow "Thank you, again."
[20:43] Happy: "And they also found a potion of silence. I'm told it allows one to move silently, though I've never had a need for it. I believe some of the students use it when playing pranks on one another. A sip lasts a few minutes. If you drink the whole thing, then it would probably work for an hour."
[20:43] Happy: "The orbs are here. I already told you about them. And the elixir of haste for the horses."
[20:44] Shadowcaller: "That sounds very useful… maybe we can think of some new strategy beacuse of this."
[20:45] Happy: "But the last item is something curious. It may not be any use to you at all. I can tell it is powerful, but I've never been able to discern it. It seems to be nature magic, however." He hands Cessie a wooden ring.
[20:45] Happy: When she takes it, she can sense the magic, but it doesn't seem accessible to her either.
[20:46] Shadowcaller: She studies it a bit, "This is very strange…"
[20:46] Murska: Aegnor looks at it, interested.
[20:47] Shadowcaller: "Where did you find it?"
[20:47] Happy: Aegnor feels drawn to it.
[20:47] Happy: "It's been in the vault for years. Longer than I've been alive."
[20:48] Murska: 'I think…' Aegnor murmurs quietly.
[20:48] Murska: 'Can I have it?'
[20:48] Shadowcaller: "Sure, why not?" Cessie hands Aegnor the ring
[20:48] Murska: Aegnor examines it carefully.
[20:49] Happy: It's very plain wood that has been worn smooth. And you feel a very strong desire to put it on.
[20:50] Murska: (I so have the urge to say or even think 'what's the worst that could happen' XD)
[20:50] Murska: Aegnor puts it on.
[20:50] Shadowcaller: (Never, ever say that:P)
[20:50] Happy: XD
[20:51] Murska: (Waiting anxiously for the disaster report.)
[20:51] Shadowcaller: (everyone that says that should die aobut 10 second after the words are uttered.)
[20:51] Shadowcaller: *about
[20:52] Happy: As soon as he puts in on, he can feel a presence in his mind. It's very strong, but doesn't feel malevolent, or even particularly intelligent. Just very strong and alive.
[20:52] Murska: /What is this…/
[20:54] Happy: It's starting to overwhelm your senses with information you can't seem to read. From the outside, Cessie and Happy and Caster see you standing there unmoving, your eyes fixed on nothing.
[20:55] Shadowcaller: "Whats going on?"
[20:55] Happy: Caster: "I don't know. I've never seen anyone react that way to it before."
[20:55] Happy: Happy: "Should we take it off of him?"
[20:56] Shadowcaller: "Maybe its elf magic or something?"
[20:56] Happy: Caster: "Perhaps."
[20:56] Shadowcaller: "I don't like to take risks thought."
[20:57] Murska: *attempts to clear his thoughts and make some sense of the information flow*
[20:58] Happy: As Aegnor exerts himself, he can't exactly make sense of the information, but he's able to keep from being swept away by it.
[20:59] Happy: It feels… familiar. Like he ought to be able to understand it.
[21:00] Happy: He feels like he can push it to the background and engage his normal senses again if he chooses.
[21:00] Murska: *tries to engage warp speed… er, normal thought again.*
[21:02] Happy: Aegnor will eventually notice that there are three people staring at him and looking worried.
[21:02] Shadowcaller: "What happend?"
[21:02] Murska: *blinks*
[21:02] Murska: 'Yeah… um. If only I knew.'
[21:02] Shadowcaller: "You went blank there for a moment."
[21:03] Happy: The one thing you're sure about is that it feels *right* wearing the ring.
[21:03] Happy: Happy: "Should we have taken it off of you?"
[21:03] Shadowcaller: "Can't he do that himself?"
[21:04] Murska: 'No, it's okay. It isn't hamful.'
[21:04] Happy: "But what is it?"
[21:04] Shadowcaller: "You took the words out of my mouth.."
[21:04] Murska: 'Hey, all I know is that it's a magical ring. I don't think that's anything new to you.'
[21:06] Shadowcaller: "Well, it seemed to react only to you."
[21:06] Shadowcaller: "That have to mean something."
[21:08] Happy: "If you're sure it's okay?" Happy looks worried.
[21:09] Murska: 'Yeah, it doesn't feel harmful.'
[21:09] Shadowcaller: "Well its magic… it feels different."
[21:09] Happy: "Cessie, you'd know if it was harmful, right?"
[21:09] Shadowcaller: "It feelt a bit alien, I can't say if its harmful or not."
[21:10] Shadowcaller: "Its magic… but yet its not magic."
[21:11] Murska: (Do I feel different or something? Can I blank myself again if I want? :P)
[21:12] Happy: (You still feel the presence, you are just able to push it aside and pay attention to other things. But yeah, if you want to focus only on it, you can easily do so.)
[21:13] Happy: Happy: "Then… should we get ready to go?"
[21:14] Shadowcaller: "I think we should get the sword, just in case."
[21:16] Happy: "Okay. But I'll carry it. Not Aegnor."
[21:17] Murska: 'Yeah, I'm mad enough without a sword to help me with that.'
[21:17] Shadowcaller: "I don't think anyone should carry it, lets keep it in a bad or something."
[21:17] Shadowcaller: (Remember the sword is intelligent and can speak)
[21:17] Shadowcaller: (its… just not very sane)
[21:18] Shadowcaller: (this: (Link: http://my.spill.com/profiles/blog/show?id=947994%3ABlogPost%3A355506)http://my.spill.com/profiles/blog/show?id=947994%3ABlogPost%3A355506 )
[21:18] Shadowcaller: (I wonder what happend if they made the dark knight this way instead;P)
[21:20] Shadowcaller: *bag
[21:20] Happy: Do they take the disguise belt as well?
[21:20] Shadowcaller: (sure)
[21:22] Happy: (then are they ready to go?)
[21:22] Murska: I guess
[21:22] Shadowcaller: (sure, Ai follows us I guess, don't rush it too much thought.)
[21:23] Murska: (I should quit soon. Tired.)
[21:23] Shadowcaller: (Okay)
[21:24] Happy: (this is a good stopping point then)
[21:24] Murska: (yup)
[21:24] Shadowcaller: (indeed)
[21:24] Murska: (I'm totally gonna find out a way to creep people out by blanking out on them, suddenly.
[21:25] Happy: *snicker*
[21:25] Shadowcaller: (… your going to use the ring for that?:P)
[21:25] Murska: (If I could talk while doing that… Imagine it. To some superstitious peasants, an elf appears… suddenly he blanks out and speaks of a vision. :P)
[21:25] Murska: 'I see a horrible disaster afflicting you! But you can avert it! Bring me money! And drums!'
[21:26] Happy: (well for all you know it is giving you visions. you just can't interpret them yet)
[21:26] Shadowcaller: Bruce: We hack the internet
[21:26] Murska: Which one?
[21:26] Shadowcaller: Alfred: Hack the internet?
[21:26] Murska: :P
[21:26] Shadowcaller: All of them!
[21:26] Murska: omghax!
[21:28] Shadowcaller: Every time batman is about to crash into a civilian, the camera enters ultra slow motion and we see him barely squeeze by, frame by frame. This happens seventeen times
[21:39] Happy: (so any guesses on what the ring is?)
[21:45] Murska: (I don't want to guess, I might accidentally be right. :P)
[21:46] Shadowcaller: (Hmm, a shapesifter ring?)
[21:46] Happy: (what's wrong with being right?)
[21:46] Murska: (Spoils the suprise.)
[21:46] Murska: (Anyway, night all)
[21:46] Shadowcaller: (Good night)
[21:46] *** Aegnor has left the conversation.
