Exodus 04

Session Start (moc.evil|eltrutyppah-anit#moc.evil|eltrutyppah-anit:Group Conversation 26053): Sat Jul 11 20:22:04 2009
[20:22] Shadowcaller: >.>
[20:22] Murska: that was hilarious after like 30 videos of seeing him hide in base. :P
[20:22] Murska: Shot in the back by a rookie…
[20:22] Shadowcaller: Hehe
[20:28] Shadowcaller: Sad end…
[20:29] Murska: Me and Talic are, in fact, tied.
[20:29] Murska: Hmm.
[20:29] Shadowcaller: Intresting:P
[20:30] Murska: The voiders can also control points…
[20:30] Murska: but Talic did claim he checked me last night.
[20:30] Murska: The other voider will vote for me though, and if he has used that power… *sigh*
[20:30] Murska: besides, I reached it first anyway
[20:30] Shadowcaller: Yeah
[20:31] Shadowcaller: Well, as you said, you had done quite much before you died
[20:31] Murska: Yup. :)
[20:31] Murska: But lynching Talic would just top it off. :P
[20:31] Shadowcaller: Hehe
[20:33] Murska: Ya know what's kinda sad? :P
[20:33] Shadowcaller: No?
[20:33] Murska: What, four of the six points at me are by wolves.
[20:34] Murska: If someone catches on to that trend…
[20:34] Shadowcaller: Hehe
[20:35] Shadowcaller: I guess there is nothing else we can RP?
[20:36] Murska: Nothing I can think of…
[20:36] Shadowcaller: Hmm…
[20:38] Shadowcaller: We could take Aegnors dragon lessons >.>
[20:39] Murska: Yeah, well, if you want to cause something odd to happen to him again so he has a reason to talk to the Jugan(was it?)
[20:39] Shadowcaller: (it was.)
[20:39] Shadowcaller: (And its not The Jugan, its his name:P)
[20:40] Murska: (yeah)
[20:40] Murska: (The Jugan guy then)
[20:40] Shadowcaller: (gah!)
[20:41] Murska: ("Your existence demonstrates a flesh to futility ratio that is mathematically staggering!" is one of the more hilarious insults I've heard lately.)
[20:41] Shadowcaller: (Yeah, read:P)
[20:44] Shadowcaller: (Right, wierd things…)
[20:50] Shadowcaller: (Well, i don't want it come that sudden really.)
[20:52] Shadowcaller: (I got a thing planned, but we will see… I can't really see when he can discover this ability.)
[20:53] Murska: Yeah
[20:53] Murska: long-time character development ftw
[20:53] Shadowcaller: Indeed
[20:56] Shadowcaller: Nothing else with Cessie then?
[20:58] Murska: I don't think we have anything pressing happening before the combat is resolved.
[20:58] Shadowcaller: Yeah, we have to wait for happy I guess
[20:58] Murska: soon SC session.
[20:58] Shadowcaller: Right
[21:12] Murska: working on convincing Allysian to point at Talic
[21:12] Murska: or, well, point at Talic or me
[21:12] Murska: whichever's better than neither
[21:12] Shadowcaller: Yeah >.>
[21:13] Shadowcaller: Lets see if you succed shall we?
[21:13] Murska: we'll see.
[21:14] Hope: back
[21:14] Shadowcaller: Oh, hi
[21:15] Murska: ohai
[21:16] Shadowcaller: Can you read what we done?
[21:20] Hope: Just read it :)
[21:20] Shadowcaller: Okay >.>
[21:20] Shadowcaller: What did you think?
[21:21] Hope: So Elvish is the key to Cessie's Freedom, eh?
[21:22] Shadowcaller: What? >.>
[21:22] Shadowcaller: Law isn't against muisc really
[21:22] Shadowcaller: *music
[21:22] Hope: then who was?
[21:23] Shadowcaller: Fear, she was afraid of letting go like that, afraid to just sing
[21:24] Murska: I'd assume Law was not really for it either
[21:24] Hope: ah
[21:24] Shadowcaller: Well, even law can change her mind:P
[21:24] Shadowcaller: Just really, really slowly
[21:25] Hope: *giggle*
[21:25] Shadowcaller: What? >.>
[21:29] Hope: I still think she'd have been horrified if she knew what Freedom asked of Aegnor.
[21:30] Shadowcaller: To sing with her?:P
[21:31] Murska: I don't think she's very resolutely against music but certainly not for it either.
[21:31] Shadowcaller: I think Murska got it right
[21:31] Shadowcaller: And freedom seems to have convinced her its not the end of the world
[21:32] Hope: And Aegnor's behaviour since then probably helped. That he hasn't been pushing her or trying to make her change.
[21:32] Shadowcaller: I think thats the biggest reason yes
[21:33] Shadowcaller: It was when law met Aegnor she really freaked out
[21:33] Shadowcaller: She belived Aegnor somehow would force her to change
[21:35] Shadowcaller: In fact, Aegnors plan of a "band" really made her stubborn, as if to say, "You can't change me!":P
[21:35] Hope: heh
[21:36] Shadowcaller: But its all clear now, should we continue or have SC session started?
[21:37] Murska: hasn't yet and I can continue slowly while playing
[21:37] Shadowcaller: Okay
[21:37] Shadowcaller: So what happends now?
[21:37] Shadowcaller: We planned out the defence right?
[21:37] Hope: back to the scouting trip?
[21:38] Murska: where were we anyway
[21:38] Hope: Derek was reporting the event to his superior
[21:42] Murska: Hmm. Yeah.
[21:44] Murska: So, Windwalker listens in the whole time, I assume.
[21:44] Hope: Of course.
[21:45] Murska: After some debate, the older man decides that they'll have to attack both to avenge the fallen and because, well, it's their job and whatever the circumstances the Desert Guard isn't going to turn coat.
[21:46] Hope: He reports this to Aegnor.
[21:46] Murska: Then they start discussing on how to attack. The oasis the villagers are camped at is apparently called Mon Asuf and they have a relatively accurate map of it.
[21:47] Murska: While the streams aren't very large, the open ground is deemed best for them. They don't really believe you capable of that much resistance if the soldiers hit first and hard, hopefully causing you to give up without any more bloodshed.
[21:49] Murska: Thus, they decide that first they'll attack by riding close to whatever semblance of a defense the villagers muster, throwing the javelins to distrupt it and, due to your already established missile capacity, drive home a cavalry charge straight through you.
[21:50] Shadowcaller: (counter plans against the magic?)
[21:51] Hope: He continues to report to Aegnor. Any info on numbers?
[21:51] Murska: (They don't know what it's capable of, but obviously any magic users they identify are a priority target.)
[21:51] Murska: No, they don't discuss numbers. They seem to all know who they'll be sending.
[21:54] Hope: Who is present? Just the two men?
[21:55] Murska: Three men.
[21:56] Murska: The stone building has some shelves filled with papers, a large table, chairs around it, door outside and door farther inside to another room.
[21:56] Shadowcaller: (Kill the leaders:P)
[21:57] Hope: (just what he's thinking)
[21:57] Hope: /I can kill the three men talking./
[21:58] Murska: /Hmm. That might be the best solution… if you are sure./
[21:58] Hope: /I am./ (he might be overestimating his abilities a bit)
[21:59] Shadowcaller: (yeah.)
[21:59] Murska: /You know the situation. It's your call./
[21:59] Murska: (and yours.)
[21:59] Murska: (Might backfire BADLY or might work out fine.)
[22:00] Hope: (SC? Should he?)
[22:00] Shadowcaller: (I don't know. i'm neutral here.)
[22:01] Hope: (how can we have an anti-GM conspiracy if you're neutral? :P)
[22:01] Shadowcaller: (I would give it a shot, just kill one guy then go eternal.)
[22:03] Hope: How are the three situated?
[22:04] Murska: They're looking over the map, next to the table. The old guy is sitting while the others are standing, one of them next to him and the one you followed here on the other side of the table.
[22:07] Hope: hmmm
[22:09] Shadowcaller: LEts see… what tricks do he have?
[22:09] Shadowcaller: What time is it? How light is the room?
[22:09] Hope: The howling thing… not so good when you're trying to kill three people quickly before they can react.
[22:10] Murska: It's got three lamps. It's very, very late.
[22:10] Murska: I'd assume day's changing soon.
[22:10] Shadowcaller: Put out the lights then
[22:10] Hope: Oooh… it's after dark. Tip a lamp over on the papers, kill them while the fire distracts them?
[22:10] Shadowcaller: Yeah, good idea
[22:13] Hope: Butt hen, that might bring more people in.
[22:14] Shadowcaller: True, maybe just put them out?
[22:14] Shadowcaller: Humans ahve poor night vision:P
[22:14] Shadowcaller: *have
[22:14] Shadowcaller: How large is the room?
[22:14] Shadowcaller: How many exits?
[22:18] Murska: Two, as I said. One door outside, one to another room.
[22:18] Murska: it's not THAT large
[22:18] Murska: but quite big anyway.
[22:18] Hope: How are the men armed?
[22:19] Shadowcaller: Are the doors open?
[22:19] Murska: The two younger men are in armour, they both have a sword. The older man isn't wearing armour but does have a sword in sight. The doors aren't open.
[22:19] Shadowcaller: Okay, any windows?
[22:19] Shadowcaller: Or other types of openings
[22:20] Murska: No windows or holes in the wall.
[22:20] Shadowcaller: So the room would go pretty dark without the lights then…
[22:20] Shadowcaller: Just blow out the lights and attack them, like in Goblins comic that you haven't read >.>
[22:22] Shadowcaller: Their eyes would not be used to dark and Yokai wolf cna see perfectly in it
[22:22] Shadowcaller: He can just dodge their blind attacks
[22:22] Hope: Not to mention their scent. Okay, Windwalker blows out the lights and then manifests in front of the older man and attempts to tear out his throat.
[22:22] Shadowcaller: behind him!
[22:22] Hope: But his throat is in the front!
[22:23] Shadowcaller: Bah, you can take out his neck as well
[22:23] Shadowcaller: bad idea if we are sneaky
[22:23] Murska: The older man starts to stand up and the others reach for their swords as the lights go out.
[22:24] Murska: As Windwalker manifests, the old man's eyes widen. He tries to shout but gets his throat ripped out, which impedes his efforts considerably and causes him to fall onto the ground in a bloody heap.
[22:24] Murska: Luckily for him, his mantle is taken up by the third guy who does manage to shout.
[22:25] Murska: The second one also shouts, 'No!', and draws his sword a bit before the third one.
[22:25] Hope: He goes for Derek next.
[22:25] Murska: (I guess he somehow noticed his father died.)
[22:25] Hope: (Derek's father?)
[22:25] Murska: (yup)
[22:26] Shadowcaller: (Really, back stab is always better. you should know Happy:P)
[22:26] Murska: Derek's attempts to survive are rather ineffective in the dark. You hear some noise outside the building though. The third guy attempts to run for the door.
[22:26] Hope: (Windwalker isn't an evil scheming horror)
[22:27] Shadowcaller: (But still, it would make it easier to kill them.)
[22:27] Hope: He attempts to leap onto his back and swipe at his head with a heavy claw.
[22:28] Murska: His previous swipe at Derek connects as he also crumbles to the ground. The third guy reaches the door after a slight stumble, and is in the process of attempting to open it when he's leaped upon, which results in him collapsing against said door.
[22:29] Hope: Windwalker tries to snap his neck if he has time before reinforcements arrive.
[22:30] Hope: (Was Derek killed, or just wounded?)
[22:31] Murska: (He crumpled to the ground with a bloody claw swipe across the stomach.)
[22:31] Murska: Windwalker snaps the third guy's neck but the door's opened from the outside and both him and the corpse of the third guy collapse on a very surprised soldier, knocking him to the ground.
[22:32] Hope: Demanifest.
[22:33] Murska: The soldier screams and points at what is now nothingness, probably earning him a demeaning nickname from the other soldiers who are also running to the scene to investigate.
[22:34] Hope: /The three are dead. I was seen by one soldier./
[22:35] Murska: /You should see what they'll do now, then./
[22:36] Hope: /Yes./
[22:36] Hope: He watches.
[22:37] Murska: Soldiers rush into the building with torches/lamps/whatever. A camp-wide alert is issued, the soldier who was collapsed upon is talked to by a few other soldiers, the gate guard is increased by four soldiers to the four already there and four more to the small gate which had two.
[22:38] Shadowcaller: Well, nothing really important. We aren't going to attack them after all
[22:39] Shadowcaller: So, will he stay there or continue to watch them?
[22:40] Shadowcaller: *move away
[22:41] Hope: He's still watching to see if the plan to hunt the villagers has been completely derailed or just postponed.
[22:44] Murska: The soldiers carry out the bodies from the building… one of them on a stretcher, and he's brought towards a large tent nearby.
[22:44] Murska: Namely, Derek. With a gash in the stomach.
[22:45] Hope: Aegnor hears growling in his head. /One of them survived./
[22:46] Murska: /That is not good…/ He sounds worried. /What shape is he in?/
[22:46] Hope: Windwalker tries to find out.
[22:47] Murska: He's unconscious. Windwalker follows the men carrying him to the large tent?
[22:47] Hope: Yes
[22:49] Murska: The tent is well lit, and has six empty beds, onto one of which Derek is carried. It also has two people not in uniform, and a collection of medical supplies.
[22:52] Shadowcaller: So…
[22:53] Hope: He reports
[22:54] Murska: Yeah. Well, the medics start tending to Derek. A soldier stays in the tent near the entrance, staying out of the way, while two more take positions on both sides of the entrance outside.
[22:55] Hope: /I can easily kill him, but more will see me. Perhaps that is good. I can issue them a warning./
[23:00] Hope: *poke*
[23:00] Murska: SC session started an hour ago. brb.
[23:00] Hope: ah
[23:00] Shadowcaller: (Indeed.)
[23:01] Shadowcaller: (Any RP I can do with happy?:P)
[23:01] Murska: (Apparently there's nobody else there either. So no problem.)
[23:01] Shadowcaller: (oh >.>)
[23:02] Shadowcaller: (Go on then chap.)
[23:03] Murska: /Hmm. But if they connect you to us…/
[23:04] Shadowcaller: (Wait and see if they decide to attack us I say.)
[23:05] Hope: /Then wound that not make them fear to attack you?/
[23:05] Hope: *would
[23:05] Murska: /Or that might make them really, really angry. We don't know./
[23:07] Shadowcaller: (You call Happy.)
[23:07] Shadowcaller: (I say the GM wants to keep Derekt alive:P)
[23:07] Shadowcaller: *Derek'
[23:07] Hope: (Yeah, I suspected as much )
[23:08] Hope: /I will wait./
[23:09] Murska: (Hey, I'm neutral at this one actually.)
[23:09] Shadowcaller: (Eh.)
[23:09] Murska: (It's just that if they do connect Windwalker to your group, Derek at least would order for every single soldier to annihilate you.)
[23:11] Hope: (but perhaps there have been enough mad spirit attacks lately that this will seem like just another one.)
[23:11] Murska: (Well there haven't been much here, and this doesn't look very random especially if you actually attack Derek again.)
[23:12] Shadowcaller: (Hmm…)
[23:13] Shadowcaller: (Roll a dice.)
[23:13] Shadowcaller: (I think killing Derek might be the best move here, but he really need to die.)
[23:14] Murska: (Well I'd be hard pressed to figure out a way for him to survive. :P)
[23:14] Murska: (What with, ya know, being horrendously wounded and unconscious)
[23:14] Shadowcaller: (Wern't there guards and stuff?)
[23:15] Shadowcaller: *weren't
[23:16] Hope: (What good would a guard do against a creature that can demanifest on top of the wounded guy?)
[23:16] Shadowcaller: (Kill him then.)
[23:16] Shadowcaller: (Then they will be leaderless.)
[23:17] Hope: (I'm sure there's a chain of command)
[23:17] Shadowcaller: (Then spy on them some more and take him out:P)
[23:17] Shadowcaller: (If we take them out one by one…
)
[23:18] Hope: Windwalker scouts around some more, looking for who is in charge now.
[23:19] Murska: Soldiers seem to be scouring the camp for assailants in groups. In the stone building, there are six men in armour and with swords arguing around the table.
[23:19] Hope: He goes to listen to them.
[23:21] Murska: They seem to be talking about what to do now. They agree on avenging the General and most of them agree to continue normal scouting procedures but be on guard in the main camp at least until Derek's healthy enough to assume command again.
[23:22] Hope: Any mention of the Gallionians?
[23:22] Murska: None. They also don't mention the possibility of Derek dying.
[23:22] Hope: All of this is reported to Aegnor.
[23:23] Hope: (Perhaps tiem for the party to talk over options?)
[23:23] Murska: (Perhaps.)
[23:24] Shadowcaller: (Possibly.)
[23:24] Shadowcaller: (What do you think? We are basically doing that anyway, but out of character.)
[23:25] Hope: (Let's do it in character then)
[23:26] Shadowcaller: (Okay, Aegnor need to bring it up thought.)
[23:27] Murska: Aegnor calls all the appropriate people together for a strategy meeting in the camp. He relays to them all the happenings on the scouting trip.
[23:27] Murska: 'Now then. Opinions?'
[23:28] Shadowcaller: "How far away is this camp?"
[23:29] Murska: (I'd assume this is in the morning while Windwalker kept Aegnor up all night and was watching the injured guy in the meanwhile.)
[23:29] Hope: (okay)
[23:29] Shadowcaller: (Okay.)
[23:30] Murska: 'Hm. I'd say at their travelling speed it took a bit less than a day. With camels.'
[23:30] Shadowcaller: "How many people ar there at the camp?"
[23:30] Shadowcaller: *ARE
[23:30] Shadowcaller: *are
[23:30] Hope: Hope: "What if Windwalker attacked another scouting group, in a different direction from us?"
[23:32] Murska: 'If he found one… I don't know. They'd probably assume they're under attack.'
[23:32] Hope: "And send the troops elsewhere?"
[23:32] Shadowcaller: "How strong are thry really?"
[23:32] Shadowcaller: *they
[23:34] Murska: 'We don't know yet. They would probably start being much more careful and consolidate around their camp, with the patrols sent out being heavier.'
[23:34] Shadowcaller: "How would a counter attack work?"
[23:35] Shadowcaller: "They must be prepared now thought…"
[23:35] Murska: 'And we would have no route to escape if we got beat back. I don't think a direct attack would work. '
[23:36] Hope: "I mean, if Windwalker attacks a patrol north of them while we head south, it might buy us time to escape."
[23:36] Murska: 'That is, if they care about us in the slightest yet anyway.'
[23:37] Hope: "We killed some of them. They won't have forgotten that."
[23:38] Shadowcaller: "We just need to make them focus somewhere else…"
[23:38] Murska: 'Hmm. Making them believe they got bigger things to worry about…'
[23:38] Shadowcaller: "Yeah, exactly."
[23:39] Shadowcaller: "Oh, I know. What if one of us pretends to be a messager from Kyou or someplace else?"
[23:39] Shadowcaller: "With illussions of course."
[23:41] Shadowcaller: *illusions
[23:41] Hope: "That could too easily backfire. We don't know their protocols."
[23:41] Murska: 'Dangerous… Maybe we should have Windwalker find us some more information first.'
[23:41] Shadowcaller: "Yeah, then we do it."
[23:41] Shadowcaller: "Can he read?"
[23:42] Murska: 'And if he does attack again, it might convince them they're under attack, which should make them focus on finding out who's attacking them and on defending themselves…'
[23:43] Shadowcaller: "Yes, we should keep attacking them. And while he is doing that, he could try to find out everyhting abotu them."
[23:43] Hope: (I doubt he can read)
[23:45] Shadowcaller: (Well maybe he can… make Aegnor see it or something:P)
[23:45] Shadowcaller: (Or steal it for us.)
[23:45] Murska: (Whatever this 'it' is. :P)
[23:45] Shadowcaller: (Yeah.)
[23:46] Hope: (the wriitng, I think he means. And Aegnor probably can't read Kyouen.)
[23:47] Shadowcaller: (Well someone must be able to, let him just steal whatever documents they have.)
[23:47] Hope: "So should we prepare to move on?" Hope asks. "If so, we should give the order."
[23:48] Shadowcaller: "Yeah, lets move on while their busy. Windwalker should keep them as busy as possible while we wait."
[23:48] Hope: "Aegnor?"
[23:49] Murska: 'Yeah.'
[23:50] Shadowcaller: "Give the order then, I need to pack…"
[23:50] Hope: Hope gives the order.
[23:51] Hope: Seren to Cessie: /Should I summon the elemental again to undo what was done?/
[23:52] Shadowcaller: /We don't really need to, it will only take time. Lets just leave shall we?/
[23:52] Murska: The orders are given.
[23:52] Murska: and stuff.
[23:53] Hope: And leaving occurs.
[23:53] Shadowcaller: Indeed
[23:54] Shadowcaller: What happends in the desert guard camp?
[23:56] Murska: Nothing much, the search of the camp finishes, they're confused, Derek is still unconscious, soldiers move around, three camel riders ride off north and two west.
[23:57] Shadowcaller: So, something must happend either at the party or at Windwalker
[23:57] Hope: Either one towards us?
[23:57] Murska: Neither one goes towards your group.
[23:58] Murska: The camp is packed rather quickly and travels further south. Nothing special will happen around Windwalker for a few days unless he does something.
[23:58] Murska: Well, technically, not a 'few' days
[23:58] Murska: more like 'one and a half days'
[23:59] Hope: He keeps watch to make sure no scouting groups are headed towards you.
[00:01] Murska: A scouting group arrives from the west into the soldier camp a day later, while the villagers keep travelling south.
[00:03] Hope: Sometime during this, Cessie notices that Dal is following her around.
[00:04] Shadowcaller: She allows this for some time, if he dose continue following her she will ask him (in elvish) why he is following her
[00:05] Hope: He looks at her a little shy… "I wanted to see if you were going to do any magic."
[00:06] Shadowcaller: "Oh, any reason why now?"
[00:07] Hope: "My parents won't let me see Seren."
[00:08] Shadowcaller: "What?! Thats horrible, they really think he lead those soldiers here?"
[00:09] Hope: "They wouldn't tell me."
[00:10] Shadowcaller: (Her accent is terrible, and a few words are badly pronounced)
[00:10] Murska: (Still. >.> :P)
[00:10] Shadowcaller: (Well, he can't do anything for her accent can he?)
[00:11] Shadowcaller: (And there was only really few words, you don't learn a language in three lessons >.>)
[00:12] Murska: (True. :P)
[00:12] Hope: (But she's also been living among them. That has to help.)
[00:12] Murska: (They've had more than three, though. Just not RPd ones)
[00:12] Shadowcaller: (Hm, well she can't speak it perfectly yet.)
[00:13] Hope: (Anyway…)
[00:13] Murska: (Not even near, I'd say. Aaaanyway.)
[00:13] Shadowcaller: "So they asked you to not see him without any reason at all?"
[00:14] Hope: "They didn't ask."
[00:16] Shadowcaller: "Seren really cares for you Dal, I should talk to your parents…" (but will she? Hm?)
[00:16] Hope: "Could you?" He looks up at Cessie hopefully.
[00:18] Shadowcaller: She looks at him doubful for a while but then finally replies "Well, I guess. But don't except much of me."
[00:18] Shadowcaller: "I'm not nearly your age."
[00:19] Hope: (What does that mean?)
[00:19] Shadowcaller: (Well, elves are often older then humans…)
[00:19] Shadowcaller: (Thus more experienced.)
[00:19] Hope: (But he's just a child)
[00:20] Shadowcaller: (Well, she meant his parents. She don't really know how elves age bodily anyway.)
[00:20] Shadowcaller: (Gor all she knows, he could be fourthy:P)
[00:20] Shadowcaller: *For
[00:21] Murska: (people in SC-session agains)
[00:21] Hope: (Well he acts like a kid. Not that Cessie probably knows what normal kids act like…)
[00:22] Shadowcaller: (She have been with her brother and sisters.)
[00:22] Hope: (who were all older than her)
[00:22] Shadowcaller: (Sure, she was removed from all that once they found out she had magic, but anyway.)
[00:22] Shadowcaller: (They were yes, but some of them not by much.)
[00:23] Hope: (Anyway…)
[00:24] Shadowcaller: (Well, I was the last one to reply right?
)
[00:25] Shadowcaller: (What dose Dal do?)
[00:25] Shadowcaller: (She might have confused him a bit there:P)
[00:26] Hope: Dal doesn't know what she meant, but her elvish is bad enough that he doesn't try and question her. "Can you come now?"
[00:27] Shadowcaller: "Um, I guess."
[00:27] Shadowcaller: "Where do your parents live?"
[00:28] Hope: "I take you to them."
[00:29] Shadowcaller: She follows him then "Very well."
[00:29] Hope: Dal leads you through the caravan to a group of several families with young children.
[00:29] Hope: The little ones get passed around when one person needs a break from carrying them.
[00:30] Shadowcaller: Cessie don't really get children but she follows him
[00:30] Hope: He introduces you to his parents, Lirra and Tissik.
[00:31] Shadowcaller: She makes a ow "Greetings, I am Cessie Mithar."
[00:32] Shadowcaller: *bow
[00:34] Shadowcaller: (do they introduce themselves?)
[00:35] Hope: "Greetings, my lady," Lirra says. She looks a bit worried. "Did Dal do something to get in trouble?"
[00:36] Shadowcaller: "No, no, not in any way." She glances back at him "Dal is training to be a wizard correct?"
[00:37] Hope: Tissik speaks sharply. "Dal, run off and play while we talk."
[00:38] Hope: Dal doesn't protest at all and runs off.
[00:38] Hope: "His training is over."
[00:39] Shadowcaller: Cessie remains neutral "Over? Why exactly?"
[00:41] Hope: "I don't trust the slaver. Not with troops so close."
[00:42] Hope: Lirra: "What if he took Dal with him and tried to find the army?"
[00:43] Shadowcaller: "He is still bound by the geas and by much else. I have spoken to him and I think he really cares about Dal. He dosen't want anything to hurt him."
[00:44] Shadowcaller: "He have changed…"
[00:44] Hope: "How can we be sure?"
[00:45] Hope: "What if it were your child? Would you take the chance?"
[00:46] Shadowcaller: "I can't imagine having a child I'm afraid, but I know I would have wanted my child to be given the chance of becoming a wizard. I trust Seren and I think he trusts me, I doubt he would lie to the person that basically saved his life."
[00:48] Hope: Lirra: "I don't see what's so special about being a wizard."
[00:49] Hope: Tissik to Lirra: "If he were a wizard, he'd have power. And respect. We wouldn't have to fear for him any more."
[00:49] Hope: Cessie might be able to tell that this is an old topic of discussion between them.
[00:50] Shadowcaller: "I am a wizard and I can't really see any negative sides with it."
[00:50] Shadowcaller: (Well there are but the can't see them:P)
[00:51] Hope: (heh)
[00:52] Shadowcaller: "Where i'm from, people would kill to become wizards."
[00:53] Hope: "I'm not opposed to it, if I were sure he was safe," Lirra says.
[00:54] Shadowcaller: "I can give my word that he is safe with Seren and if its really needed I could keep an eye on them too."
[00:55] Hope: "But how can you be sure?"
[00:56] Shadowcaller: "How can we be sure of anything? I trust him as much as I trust you. I find it extremly unlikely that he would want to harm your son in any way."
[01:03] Hope: "It wasn't so long ago that he did."
[01:04] Shadowcaller: "He have changed, he didn't knew Dal back then. It was as easy as the warriors here killing one of the soldiers that attacked us."
[01:05] Shadowcaller: "Try to give him a chance, and if you don't trust him, then at least trust Helenas magic that binds him."
[01:07] Hope: Tissik: "There's no way he can get around that? Even though he's a wizard too?"
[01:08] Murska: (Helena IS a god…)
[01:08] Shadowcaller: "Helena is a god, don't you trust her to overcome a not fully trained wizard?"
[01:08] Shadowcaller: (Hehe, should just say that.)
[01:15] Hope: They speak at the same time. Lirra: "No. Not when it comes to my son." Tissik: "Maybe we should think about it some more."
[01:16] Shadowcaller: "If you really wanted I could mind probe him, would taht make you trsut him?"
[01:16] Shadowcaller: *that
[01:16] Hope: "Like you did at the trial?"
[01:17] Shadowcaller: "Yes, like at the trail:"
[01:21] Shadowcaller: *trust
[01:22] Hope: "Maybe…" Lirra says, relenting a bit.
[01:22] Shadowcaller: "You trust me right?"
[01:24] Hope: "Yes, my Lady."
[01:26] Shadowcaller: /Stupid lady thing…/ "Then please let me allow me to mindprobe him to prove that he don't want your son any harm."
[01:28] Hope: (Link: http://whatever.scalzi.com/2009/07/11/i-teared-up-when-i-saw-this/)http://whatever.scalzi.com/2009/07/11/i-teared-up-when-i-saw-this/
[01:29] Hope: Lirra looks hesitantly at Tissik, and then back to Cessie, and nods.
[01:29] Shadowcaller: "Thank you… Dal will be very happy to hear this."
[01:30] Hope: Tissik: "Don't say anything to Dal yet. We need to know what the mind probe shows first."
[01:30] Shadowcaller: "Very well, I guess you want to be there or?"'
[01:31] Hope: "If it's okay for us to…"
[01:32] Shadowcaller: "Of course it is. I don't mind at all."
[01:33] Shadowcaller: "So, lets go and find Saren shall we?"
[01:33] Hope: Lirra says something to one of the other mothers, and they go with you to find Seren.
[01:34] Hope: He is alone, as usual. Still an outcast among them.
[01:34] Shadowcaller: /Seren?/
[01:34] Hope: /Yes??
[01:35] Shadowcaller: /I'm here to allow you to be Dal's teacher again./
[01:35] Shadowcaller: /But i need to mindprobe you first…/
[01:36] Shadowcaller: /They say its the only way, his parents that is./
[01:37] Hope: Seren to the parents: "I understand why you don't trust me."
[01:39] Hope: To Cessie: /Go ahead./
[01:39] Shadowcaller: /Okay, I try to keep ut from anything else…/
[01:40] Shadowcaller: She casts mind probe upon him
[01:41] Hope: She enters his mind and is almost overwhelmed with shame.
[01:42] Shadowcaller: She tries to remain calm and observant
[01:42] Hope: When she was in his mind before, the predominate emotion was fear. But now, his remorse for his past colors every thought.
[01:43] Hope: (like before, you have to ask questions to get specific information)
[01:43] Shadowcaller: "What do you think of Dal?"
[01:44] Shadowcaller: *//
[01:45] Hope: /He's so bright and talented. And good. He has a good heart./
[01:46] Shadowcaller: /Would you ever hurt him?/
[01:47] Hope: /Never! Not him… not any of them… / He's picturing the other children in his mind that he abducted that day. /I didn't know…/
[01:48] Shadowcaller: /Its okay… what do you think of me?/
[01:49] Hope: He resists answering. /Why does that matter?/
[01:49] Shadowcaller: /Better question: Do you trust me?/
[01:50] Hope: /Yes./
[01:50] Shadowcaller: /Would you harm anyone in this village?/
[01:51] Hope: /You mean if the geas was removed?/
[01:51] Shadowcaller: /Yes./
[01:52] Hope: He thinks a while. /If I had to harm someone to protect Dal, or the other children, I would. But for no other reason./
[01:53] Shadowcaller: /Good…I guess thats all questions I need./
[01:54] Shadowcaller: /Or wait, what would you do once the geas is removed?/
[01:54] Hope: /I wish… I wish you'd caught me three years ago./
[01:55] Hope: She can see the Kyou slave market in his mind.
[01:55] Shadowcaller: /What would you do there?/
[01:56] Hope: /That's where I sold them./
[01:56] Shadowcaller: /I understand… I know this must be very hard for you./
[01:57] Hope: /How can you be so forgiving?/
[01:58] Hope: /You saw what my thoughts were like before, and you still tried to save me? Why?/
[01:58] Shadowcaller: /I'm raised that way I guess? I belive that people can be made better./
[01:59] Shadowcaller: /If you make them see the right way… everyone can make misstakes, but everyone should also get a chance to redeem themselves for such misstakes./
[01:59] Shadowcaller: /Its human nature after all./
[02:00] Hope: /I can't ever fully make amends for the misery I caused./
[02:01] Shadowcaller: /Some day you need to move on, you can't live with guilt your whole life./
[02:02] Hope: He doesn't have any response to that.
[02:02] Shadowcaller: /It will be very hard, but some day… you can try at least, can you promise me that?/
[02:03] Shadowcaller: /not not, maybe not even next year. But some day./
[02:04] Hope: /No, I couldn't./
[02:05] Shadowcaller: /Please Seren, I'm not asking you to forget what you did or not feel guily about it, I'm asking you to not live with that misstake, do you you understand?/
[02:06] Hope: /I can only try and get through one day at a time./
[02:06] Shadowcaller: /Yes, thats all I wanted to hear…/
[02:06] Shadowcaller: She fades from his mind.
[02:07] Shadowcaller: "He dosen't want to hurt Dal or any of the children." She says out loud.
[02:08] Shadowcaller: "The only thing that would make him hurt you is if you tried to hurt them."
[02:09] Hope: Lirra: "You mean he's changed? Truly?"
[02:09] Shadowcaller: "Thats what I have seen."
[02:11] Hope: Seren: "I was blind then. I didn't let myself see what I was doing."
[02:12] Hope: Tissik: "And that makes it okay?"
[02:12] Shadowcaller: (Is he speaking elvish or kyouhen?)
[02:12] Hope: Seren: "No. Nothing will ever do that."
[02:12] Hope: (elvish)
[02:12] Shadowcaller: (Oh, he knows it >.>)
[02:13] Hope: (He's been learning. He's not much better than Cessie)
[02:13] Hope: (But somewhat better, since he's had more time to practice.)
[02:13] Shadowcaller: (Okay.)
[02:14] Shadowcaller: "See? Have have really changed Tissik."
[02:16] Hope: Tissik: "I hope he has." He looks at his wife. "We'll discuss it and make a decision soon."
[02:17] Murska: (I see it's late. Augh. *smacks own head*)
[02:17] Hope: ?
[02:17] Murska: (I'm getting distracted by the fact that 'tissi' = 'tit' in finnish.)
[02:17] Hope: *giggle*
[02:17] Shadowcaller: (haha.)
[02:18] Hope: Anyway… since Cessie can't read people the way Aegnor or Simone can, she probably can't tell how they 're going to decide.
[02:18] Shadowcaller: She can't, but she can read them better then they can with a certain spell:P
[02:19] Hope: (True)
[02:19] Hope: The next day, Cessie hears from Seren that Dal has been allowed to resume his lessons.
[02:20] Murska: The next day, Derek wakes up for the first time.
[02:20] Shadowcaller: She is very pleased with this
[02:20] Shadowcaller: Not the second thing thought >.<
[02:21] Hope: Windwalker reports this to Aegnor.
[02:22] Murska: Despite protests by the medics, the six sergeants gather around his bed. He formally accepts temporary leadership, he's quite griefstruck by the loss of his father and he gives them some information which cements their doubts that the attacker was a spirit, possibly a spirit assassin. The clawmarks already told them it was a wolfen one.
[02:23] Hope: (I guess it's a good thing he didn't meet any wolfen at the oasis)
[02:24] Murska: (None of the soldiers were wolfen then?)
[02:24] Shadowcaller: (Well, there was wolfen shooting at him:P)
[02:24] Hope: (Oh right)
[02:25] Hope: (Of couirse the elves are better archers than wolfen, because of better eyesight, but I imagine there were wolfen around)
[02:25] Murska: (Technically speaking Windwalker isn't a Wolfen anyway. A wolf-spirit. But for them it's a meaningless distinction since for them wolfen are just primitive wolf-men which is pretty much what the spirit was a bigger version of.)
[02:26] Hope: Anyway, Windwalker is mostly listening to see what they plan to do.
[02:28] Murska: Derek is too tired to speak for long and quickly falls asleep again but it seems the mere fact of having leadership again helps them regain initiative. A small scouting party is sent westwards again and a larger one begins equipping to head our way to see what we're doing.
[02:28] Hope: eep
[02:28] Murska: The medics hush the soldiers away, except for the one who sits down right inside the entrance again.
[02:29] Hope: Windwalker reports all this to Aegnor. How many are headed towards the caravan?
[02:30] Murska: Thirty-five, with one of the sergeants. They take four spare camels aswell, and more supplies than the other groups have had.
[02:30] Hope: And the caravan had a day's lead on them. But it won't take them long to catch up. :S
[02:31] Hope: /Perhaps I should kill the sergeants, one at a time when I find them alone./
[02:33] Murska: /Hmm. Risky… but we do need to do something./
[02:34] Hope: Windwalker looks for the earliest opportunity, hopefully while the big group is still preparing to leave.
[02:34] Hope: He tries to find one of the other sergeants though, not the one going with that group.
[02:36] Murska: It's quite difficult to find any of them alone in the camp, at least in a situation where they'd be far enough from possible help.
[02:36] Hope: (No one has to use the latrine? :P)
[02:37] Murska: (While they do, those are next to the back of the palisade and just tents. They're alone but he'd have to be careful since there are usually people right outside.
[02:38] Hope: (Well they know what he is now. So it isn't so critical that he not be seen - just that he not be caught)
[02:40] Hope: (So, SC?)
[02:41] Shadowcaller: (Hm, he could always lure some of them away, but that would draw a lot more then one.)
[02:41] Shadowcaller: (He could go howling… decrease moral.)
[02:42] Hope: (Or he could kills ome of the mounts. See if it changes their plans.)
[02:42] Shadowcaller: (Sure, he could scare them off and kill some of them.)
[02:44] Hope: Okay, he goes to the stables( ? ) (Are camels kept in stables?)
[02:44] Hope: What does he see?
[02:46] Murska: (I have no idea) There are, unsuprisingly, a lot of camels. Also a lot of guards. And a building with food for them, saddles and other equipment and stuff like that.
[02:49] Hope: Well he finds a camel that's as far from the guards as possible (since presumably they don't hang out right next to the smelly things), manifests, and rips its throat out.
[02:52] Murska: This results in, in order of appearance, 1: A surprised camel 2: a spray of camel blood 3: a large amount of paniced camels 4: a lot of noise, including but not limited to crickets chirping, camels doing whatever noises camels do, guards shouting and, possibly, a rocket launcher blast nearby. The last one is quite improbable, though, I would go as far as to say it didn't happen.
[02:53] Hope: He turns to the guards, growling and snarling, and leaps towards them, demanifesting at the last second.
[02:54] Murska: One of them falls on his back while the others are suitably distracted from their crucial work of herding the camels back to a sheep-like state of perpetual calm to allow some of them to escape.
[02:55] Hope: He howls among them to panic them more.
[02:56] Hope: Then goes sneaky again and returns to spying on the sergeants to see if their plans change.
[02:58] Murska: Meanwhile the exodus proceeds admirably. One more day and they oughta reach another oasis. Derek wakes up a few more times. The sergeants seem to take this action as proof that 1: It wasn't a random attack 2: You're trying to harm their ability to fight outside of their base, not trying to weaken them for an attack inside and…
[02:58] Murska: 3: You're really tough to catch but you avoid direct confrontation.
[02:58] Hope: But not connected to the exodus?
[03:00] Murska: They're not sure about that, although one of them states the possibility in one of their meetings.
[03:01] Hope: Did he stop the scouting groups from leaving?
[03:02] Murska: The smaller one left, there are enough camels for the other one left but they were given to soldiers who rode off to recatch the camels who fled instead. So at least delayed that one.
[03:05] Shadowcaller: (Here >.>)
[03:05] Hope: The priestesses do what they can to help the exodus make better time.
[03:06] Shadowcaller: (How could they help?)
[03:07] Hope: Stressing to everyone how important it is. Organizing the soldiers to herd stragglers. Shorter breaks.
[03:07] Shadowcaller: (Also, Cessie learned a lesson today, Never ask a man what he thinks of her by mind probe:P)
[03:07] Hope: (Heh)
[03:08] Hope: (What does she think he thinks of her then?)
[03:08] Shadowcaller: (She don't really know. But since he resisted, she let it be.)
[03:10] Hope: (Well she's kind and forgiving and beautiful and a wizard like him… of course he has a crush on her.)
[03:11] Shadowcaller: (Oh >.>)
[03:12] Hope: (He's also not an idiot. He knows he has no chance at all.)
[03:13] Shadowcaller: (True.)
[03:13] Hope: (And even if she were single, he's convinced he doesn't deserve her. Which he doesn't.)
[03:14] Shadowcaller: (Hehe, you don't think so?^^)
[03:14] Hope: (He feels remorse now. That doesn't change what he did.)
[03:15] Shadowcaller: (Yeah well… I suppose.)
[03:15] Shadowcaller: (I wonder what you will think of the next plot… it will be morally complex.)
[03:16] Murska: (Woo, maybe I'll actually get to BE neutral with Aegnor some day. :P)
[03:16] Shadowcaller: (What are you now?:P)
[03:16] Hope: (Nah… he's beena round Cessie too long.)
[03:17] Murska: (I guess. But if it's a choice between Cessie or Hope or whatever and saving a group of random innocents… :P)
[03:17] Shadowcaller: (Eh, its not complex in that way. Besides, such a situation can't be planned by me.)
[03:18] Shadowcaller: (I try not to force characters into certain situations.)
[03:18] Shadowcaller: (Where other charcters also are involved.)
[03:19] Shadowcaller: (Anyway…)
[03:19] Hope: (Anyway…)
[03:19] Hope: Stop there for the night?
[03:19] Shadowcaller: (If you wish, I am quite tired after all.)
[03:20] Murska: I can continue or stop.
[03:20] Shadowcaller: (Like a machine!)
[03:21] Murska: I can't retry though.
[03:21] Shadowcaller: Aww
[03:21] Murska: Nor will I ignore. >.>
[03:21] Hope: The question is, has the scouting group been delayed enough to allow the exodus to reach the next oasis safely?
[03:22] Murska: And, with a bit of calculation, it's easy to answer that one. 'Yes.'
[03:22] Murska: Darn incorporeal spirit assassin, though, I was planning on at least SOMETHING going after you guys. :P
[03:23] Shadowcaller: (He should apply to house Dimir…)
[03:23] Shadowcaller: (Not taht any of you understand that reference.)
[03:23] Shadowcaller: *that
[03:23] Murska: (Hey, I've seen you use them in Insanowar and I've heard of them in Ravnica.
[03:23] Hope: (I'm sure Derek hasn't forgotten us. >.> )
[03:24] Shadowcaller: (bah, soon we are too far into wolfen territorry.)
[03:24] Hope: Yeah, but if he remembers what Cessie said…
[03:25] Shadowcaller: What did she say?
[03:25] Hope: "We're protected by wizards and spirits."
[03:25] Shadowcaller: Oh, that
[03:25] Murska: (this X-Com let's play I'm watching is hilarious…)
[03:25] Shadowcaller: Yeah:P
[03:25] Shadowcaller: I know
[03:26] Murska: ('Prime grenade to explode in two turns' 'end turn')
[03:26] Shadowcaller: Been watching it too
[03:26] Murska: ('next turn: Gyrus is berserk' 'oshi!'
[03:26] Murska: (Everyone step away from the berserked guy with the primed handgrenade!)
[03:27] Murska: (Not to mention some other absolutely hilarious happenings.)
[03:27] Hope: (No comment on Derek?)
[03:27] Murska: (*a snapshot hits* Accuracy! I love that in a… *cut short by an autofire hitting a teammate in the head and oneshotting him*)
[03:27] Shadowcaller: (Well, if we get far enough…)
[03:27] Murska: (I refuse to comment on Derek right now.
[03:27] Murska: (Poor guy. :P)
[03:28] Shadowcaller: (I doubt the others will follow him that far…)
[03:28] Shadowcaller: (Yeah, father dead and all…)
[03:28] Hope: (Yeah, what about the fathers in Gallion?)
[03:28] Murska: (Not to mention the awesome 'You better hit now or you'll die…' *hits* 'Congratulations Goopy, you're… *another alien shoots him in the back* dead.')
[03:29] Shadowcaller: (Yeah, hehe.)
[03:30] Murska: (This guy is absolutely hilarious at times. xD)
[03:30] Hope: (poor guy lost his father only because he wanted to drag all the fathers and mothers and children of Gallion back into slavery.)
[03:30] Murska: (Nothing beats his W-W-W-W-WHAAAAAT? though)
[03:30] Murska: (Yeah, poor guy. Technically, he's lived in a society where a statement like that wouldn't be in any way sarcastic.)
[03:31] Hope: (I know. I re-read the Seren trial recently)
[03:31] Hope: (He was completely sorry that he'd gotten caught.)
[03:32] Murska: (I've recently read some stuff about how easy it is for humans to turn 'evil' by thinking of whatever they're abusing as 'lesser' beings)
[03:32] Shadowcaller: (Indeed…)
[03:32] Murska: (You know, like the electric shock test thingy)
[03:32] Hope: (Yeah. 'Elves and dogs'
[03:32] Shadowcaller: (Even easier when they look different.)
[03:33] Shadowcaller: (Well we met extremists from both sides haven't we?)
[03:34] Hope: Most people don't think of themselves as evil.
[03:34] Murska: ('Hmm. People aren't evil. I'd assume around 1% of the people who take this test would ACTUALLY go that far.' End result: what, 80% did.)
[03:34] Hope: They have an internal justification for their actions.
[03:34] Murska: Ayup. And creating such a justification is very, very easy.
[03:34] Hope: Seren's was that they weren't /people/. They were just elves and dogs.
[03:34] Hope: But he can't live among them and still maintain that belief.
[03:35] Hope: Heck , I'm old enough to remember when homosexuality was thought of as a mental illness.
[03:36] Hope: The main thing that's changes people's minds is when someone they know comes out.
[03:36] Shadowcaller: (Yeah…)
[03:37] Hope: So yeah, I do feel bad for Derek and Rav. Even though Hope doesn't.
[03:37] Shadowcaller: (Cessie would feel sorry for them:P)
[03:38] Murska: Aegnor wouldn't.
[03:38] Hope: (And Promise would. And by their example, Hope probably would eventually. Like she did with Zubera and Allyria.)
[03:39] Hope: But even if she felt sorry for them, she wouldn't hesitate to kill them.
[03:40] Shadowcaller: (We got quite many complicated villians don't we? Thought the worm is a all out one… like Xykon.)
[03:40] Hope: Complicated ones are the best.
[03:40] Shadowcaller: Indeed
[03:40] Shadowcaller: They are
[03:40] Murska: Well, the worm has motivations at least. :P
[03:41] Hope: Even better, when you can manage it, is when you have two sides that are both somewhat sympathetic, but in opposition. And there's no way both can get what they want.
[03:41] Shadowcaller: Thats sort of what next plot is about actually
[03:41] Hope: good :)
[03:41] Murska: That's nice, but when playing something like this, it's also nice to sometimes have just something you can brutally murder without any care for morals, consequences or anything else. :P
[03:41] Hope: will that be after Wolfie's back?
[03:41] Hope: That's what undead are for
[03:42] Hope: Although I still like the scene where Hope made sure the wounded guy in the tower didn't survive.
[03:42] Shadowcaller: (Hey, Arik is undead >.>)
[03:42] Murska: (Killing HIM would be nice. :P)
[03:43] Murska: (But that falls under 'care for consequences')
[03:43] Hope: (Yeah, Aegnor would love it… until he saw Cessie crying.)
[03:44] Murska: (Aegnor doesn't actually hate Arik as much as I think the other non-Cessie people do. He dislikes him and would rather he stayed far away forever or died but he wouldn't hunt him down or anything.)
[03:46] Shadowcaller: I don't think Promise hate Arik that much
[03:47] Murska: They haven't really had much to do with each other.
[03:48] Hope: Hope hates him because of the geas that could have gotten Promise killed. And for trying to kill Michicora. And for what he did to Simone. And for the pain he causes Cessie.
[03:48] Shadowcaller: Yeah, thats why its like that.P
[03:48] Shadowcaller: Arik cuases her pain? Would she not even cuase her more pain by killing him?
[03:49] Hope: Yeah
[03:49] Hope: But that's three members of the party that nearly died because of Arik
[03:50] Hope: How much pain would that have caused Cessie?
[03:50] Hope: If one of them had died?
[03:50] Hope: And she knew it was Arik's fault?
[03:50] Shadowcaller: Hm, yeah
[03:51] Hope: She'd probably blame herself
[03:51] Shadowcaller: Possibly
[03:52] Shadowcaller: How far into the desert are we going anyway?
[03:52] Hope: I'm off to bed.
[03:52] Shadowcaller: Okay, me too then >.>
[03:54] Murska: night.
[03:54] Shadowcaller: Night
[03:54] Murska: *hugs SC*
[03:54] Murska: *hugstabs Happy*
[03:54] Shadowcaller: >.>
[03:54] Hope: X.x
[03:55] Hope: *undead hugs*
[03:59] Murska: *is not left behind since he shook hands with SC and didn't hug*?
[03:59] Shadowcaller: Possibly
[03:59] Shadowcaller: She have any more dreasm by the way?
[03:59] Murska: Not yet.
[04:00] Shadowcaller: Okay, must be the longest buildup ever:P
[04:01] Hope: what, two foreshadowing sessions and you're already impatient? ^^
[04:01] Shadowcaller: Hey, weren't you going to bed:P
[04:01] Murska: We can't really have that adventure while we're resolving the army group thing.
[04:02] Hope: yeah… it takes energy to actually shut down the computer and walk to the bedroom though
[04:02] Murska: Which was actually just something I randomly thought up mid-session for some filler.
[04:02] Hope: heh
[04:02] Shadowcaller: I'm not complaining really
[04:02] Murska: …oh god, I killed one of our fictional refugees for something like that!
[04:02] Hope: It gave Seren and Cessie both some character development
[04:02] Shadowcaller: You gave Cessie some?
[04:03] Hope: You don't think helping Seren was character building for her?
[04:03] Shadowcaller: Hm, maybe
[04:03] Shadowcaller: She have done that already thought
[04:03] Hope: True
[04:03] Hope: anyhway, poof
[04:03] Hope: see you guys tomorrow
[04:03] Shadowcaller: See you
