Exodus 03

Session Start (moc.evil|eltrutyppah-anit#moc.evil|eltrutyppah-anit:Group Conversation 27352): Fri Jul 10 20:24:40 2009
[20:24] Murska: Already did.
[20:25] Shadowcaller: Ah
[20:26] Shadowcaller: What do you like Selrahc's idea?
[20:26] Murska: Oughta be fun.ö
[20:26] Murska: If I'm a leader.
[20:26] Shadowcaller: Hehe
[20:26] Murska: Would be pretty meh if someone like Eaglewiz was your leader.
[20:27] Shadowcaller: Eh, you would still be able to do like you always do
[20:27] Murska: There'd be no gain.
[20:29] Shadowcaller: I was still thinking about this concept with codes
[20:29] Shadowcaller: But i'm not really sure how it would work
[20:30] Shadowcaller: The idea that every player have a "code", to be able to use night actions against him, you first need that code
[20:30] Murska: Any night actions whatsoever? Like kills?
[20:31] Shadowcaller: Thats how I orginally wanted it, but its hard to fix that
[20:32] Murska: I'm playing an 18-civ Prince game on Earth18 in civ
[20:32] Murska: Isabella spread buddhism like mad and now everyone in the game except me, Hatty and Togukawa are buddhist
[20:32] Murska: I needed to go for Christianity for I wanted the Theocracy exp bonus for an early war
[20:33] Shadowcaller: I wonder why buddism is the first religion to be discovered anyway?
[20:33] Murska: Fastest to research.
[20:33] Shadowcaller: Well, history-wise
[20:34] Murska: In real life?
[20:34] Murska: It wasn't
[20:34] Shadowcaller: Indeed
[20:35] Shadowcaller: So I wonder why they made it the easiest religion to research
[20:35] Murska: Cuz the game doesn't have any earlier ones
[20:35] Shadowcaller: Well, why didn't they made Judaism the easiest one instead:P
[20:35] Shadowcaller: Since its the earliest of the big religions
[20:35] Murska: Because polytheism is earlier than monotheism
[20:36] Shadowcaller: That dosen't make sense either
[20:36] Murska: People believed in spirits and, by extension, gods
[20:36] Murska: way before they thought of there only being one
[20:37] Shadowcaller: Well yes, but by the ages of the big religions…
[20:38] Murska: I don't even know the ages of the big religions
[20:38] Murska: not that one can say 'Buddhism was founded on the year XXXX' or such, they've evolved over time
[20:39] Shadowcaller: It was sort of based on hinduism thought
[20:41] Shadowcaller: As Christianity and Islam was based on Judaism
[20:52] Shadowcaller: pokes
[21:05] Shadowcaller: *pokes*
[21:10] Murska: Hmm.
[21:10] Shadowcaller: Hm?
[21:10] Shadowcaller: Writing S.E.U. updated by the way
[21:11] Murska: I may just have found the stupidest spot for a city I have ever seen.
[21:11] Shadowcaller: What is that?:P
[21:11] Murska: (Link: http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww213/Bestrafer_fin/Civ4%20screenies/Civ4ScreenShot0000-3.jpg)http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww213/Bestrafer_fin/Civ4%20screenies/Civ4ScreenShot0000-3.jpg
[21:11] Shadowcaller: Hehe
[21:12] Shadowcaller: Well, its better then no city at all
[21:12] Murska: It's not
[21:12] Murska: that… thing costs like 20 gold per turn
[21:12] Murska: for them
[21:12] Shadowcaller: Well, make it a colony then?
[21:12] Murska: And what'd that help?
[21:12] Murska: No, waste of a settler says I.
[21:12] Murska: Anyway, hilariously enough, that city became the holy city of Islam.
[21:13] Shadowcaller: Haha
[21:13] Shadowcaller: I can see why they like… the cold
[21:13] Shadowcaller: I thought the cost decreased once you made it a colony
[21:13] Murska: Well, that city still doesn't actually GIVE you anything whatsoever
[21:14] Murska: Hey, think of it in real life terms
[21:14] Murska: why in the hell would France found Orleans in Novaya Zemlya?
[21:15] Shadowcaller: Um, the scenery? making up new names for snow?:P
[21:15] Murska: Somehow I doubt the wisdom of such a move. :P
[21:15] Shadowcaller: Indeed
[21:15] Shadowcaller: I can tell you that I have recived three commando actions
[21:16] Shadowcaller: *reveal to you
[21:16] Murska: Goddamnit.
[21:16] Murska: After I organized all six groups.
[21:16] Murska: Hahaha. It appears France only has two cities
[21:16] Murska: including Orleans
[21:16] Murska: :P
[21:16] Murska: Spain only has one.
[21:16] Shadowcaller: No wait, 4
[21:17] Shadowcaller: four groups
[21:17] Shadowcaller: Hehe, 1 city?:P
[21:17] Murska: Well 18 civs means a bit less room… :P
[21:17] Murska: I got 13 cities.
[21:17] Murska: As persia.
[21:18] Shadowcaller: Well, I don't think I learned the finer details of the game yet
[21:18] Murska: The Aztecs and the Incas have divvied up the Americas pretty cleanly.
[21:18] Murska: Egypt has Africa and some of Mid East
[21:19] Shadowcaller: Oh, you play real earth eh?
[21:19] Shadowcaller: Sweden and Finland should have their own civ's^^
[21:19] Murska: :P
[21:19] Murska: There's a mod…
[21:19] Shadowcaller: I'm sure there is
[21:19] Shadowcaller: Who would be the leader of finland by the way?
[21:21] Murska: Mannerheim?
[21:21] Murska: Kekkonen?
[21:22] Shadowcaller: I could tottaly see Mannerheim in Civ
[21:22] Shadowcaller: *totally
[21:24] Murska: Hmm. Another contender for the most useless city.
[21:24] Murska: (Link: http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww213/Bestrafer_fin/Civ4%20screenies/Civ4ScreenShot0001-2.jpg)http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/ww213/Bestrafer_fin/Civ4%20screenies/Civ4ScreenShot0001-2.jpg
[21:25] Shadowcaller: Ah, I remember a city like that
[21:25] Shadowcaller: It was connected to my empire at first but…
[21:26] Murska: Well, that one is in the middle of three civilizations, two of which are his bitter enemies
[21:26] Murska: it has 1 hammer
[21:26] Murska: 0 food
[21:26] Murska: 0 commerce
[21:27] Shadowcaller: :P
[21:37] Murska: maybe I oughta go sleep for a few hours again. Then again, maybe it's a bit too late for that.
[21:45] Shadowcaller: Possibly >.>

[21:54] Shadowcaller: Aegnor says:
'We need to make sure we get away from them without them attacking us again.'
(We're missing that one log, right?)
Shadowcaller says:
[21:55] Murska: (Funny… I have two of the five best cities and neither are my capital. Rare.)
[21:55] Shadowcaller: (My best city is often my second one:)
[21:55] Shadowcaller: *.)
[21:56] Murska: (Well these are my fourth and one I captured from Saladin, I think it's his second
[21:58] Murska: (Problem. I need to assault Sparta. And they have not only spearmen but a great general pikeman. Luckily he's not Leonidas, but still.)
[21:58] Shadowcaller: Hehe
[21:58] Shadowcaller: SPARTA!
[21:58] Shadowcaller: Try to send one messager first:P
[21:59] Murska: I think I'll send fifteen Cavalry first.
[21:59] Shadowcaller:
[21:59] Shadowcaller: Hey, you should send one messager, telling the leader to give you earth and mud as a sign that they surrender
[22:00] Shadowcaller: He should also have a small escort
[22:00] Murska: Nah. The best way to start a war is to end it.
[22:01] Shadowcaller: So its… madness to do that?:P
[22:02] Murska: Hokay, suddenly, world war.
[22:03] Murska: 1514 AD, Russia started a war with Egypt, Egypt's ally Persia started a war with Russia, China started a war with Persia, Egypt started a war with China, Rome started a war, oddly, with Russia AND Egypt, France started a war with Mali and Greece started a war with Persia, Mongols started a war with China and Persia.
[22:03] Shadowcaller: Intresting
[22:03] Murska: I love this diplomacy screen. :P
[22:04] Shadowcaller: Hehe, must be quite full by now >.>
[22:04] Shadowcaller: Err… anyway
[22:05] Shadowcaller: Still sleepy happy?
[22:12] Hope: a bit
[22:12] Hope: but i can IF some
[22:12] Shadowcaller: Well, considering how long time it took for you to reply…:P
[22:13] Hope: that was civ…
[22:13] Murska: continue das conversation then
[22:13] Shadowcaller: Oh
[22:13] Shadowcaller: "More suggestions?"
[22:14] Shadowcaller: "Or should we continue moving and let Windwalker scout them?"
[22:16] Hope: "I think we need the report before we can decide."
[22:17] Shadowcaller: (What report? The one from Windwalker?)
[22:17] Hope: (yeah)
[22:18] Shadowcaller: "Lets call him then, Aegnor?"
[22:18] Hope: (grrrr… me and Saldin in the culture race. Each of us have two cities at Legendary.)
[22:19] Murska: 'Okay.' Aegnor contacts him, relaying the information and the plan to scout. (That is, unless you wanted to talk to him first.)
[22:19] Hope: (i'll get there in 4 turns)
[22:19] Shadowcaller: (Not really, Cessie don't have anything to say to him.)
[22:21] Hope: (yay! i just won!)
[22:21] Shadowcaller: (:))
[22:22] Hope: (I only had 5 cities)
[22:22] Murska: Anything else you're gonna talk?
[22:23] Shadowcaller: (Hm, we kind of lost the thread there.)
[22:23] Hope: Hope warns him not to take any risks.
[22:24] Shadowcaller: Cessie is worried about the fireball spells she might have wasted:P
[22:25] Hope: (Don't remind me of Rav. That was sad. :( )
[22:25] Shadowcaller: (Well, this is one of the reasons she don't like to kill people.)
[22:25] Shadowcaller: (She can speak with them afterwards…)
[22:26] Hope: (I mean /I/ was sad. Hope doesn't know about how it was.)
[22:26] Shadowcaller: (Yeah, I know you were >.>)
[22:27] Hope: (i'm just a big softie :p)
[22:27] Shadowcaller: (Anyhow, she dosen't say have anything to say to Windwalker.)
[22:27] Hope: So… SC going to be windwalker?)
[22:27] Shadowcaller: (I am? o.O)
[22:27] Shadowcaller: (Can't we just skip it pass?)
[22:29] Murska: Let's just say it departs?
[22:29] Shadowcaller: (Yeah.)
[22:29] Murska: The scouting part is a solo adventure
[22:29] Shadowcaller: (He departs.)
[22:29] Murska: so if we do that, let's do it when we only got me and DC
[22:29] Murska: SC*
[22:29] Shadowcaller: (If ever >.>)
[22:30] Shadowcaller: (I don't really see the point with it since that NPC haven't been active before.)
[22:30] Murska: (Oh god the Romans have a lot of units)
[22:30] Shadowcaller: (Well, beside during the battle.)
[22:30] Hope: (okay… then skip to his report?)
[22:30] Murska: (Because you'll have to actually find out what you scout.)
[22:30] Murska: (I'm not going to give you information just assuming you manage to glean it)
[22:31] Shadowcaller: (Hm, me?)
[22:31] Shadowcaller: (I never even controlled him except as a GM:P)
[22:31] Hope: (yeah you_
[22:31] Shadowcaller: (I don't really see what connection I have to the NPC whatsoever.)
[22:32] Hope: (you created him? Okay, I'll do it then. :P)
[22:32] Shadowcaller: (I create a lot of things >.>)
[22:32] Hope: (bah… i run half the village it seems :P)
[22:33] Murska: (You pretty much run the village. :P)
[22:33] Hope: (rename it Turtle City)
[22:34] Hope: Anyway, Windwalker tracks the caravan, which shouldn't be difficult.
[22:35] Murska: It isn't. The scent is fresh.
[22:35] Hope: (smelly camels)
[22:35] Murska: (Meanwhile, what does the exodus-group do?)
[22:36] Hope: (SC decides )
[22:38] Shadowcaller: (Hmm…)
[22:38] Shadowcaller: (Well, we stay I guess?)
[22:38] Shadowcaller: (Until he returns.)
[22:38] Murska: (And fortify the best you can?)
[22:38] Shadowcaller: (I guess.)
[22:39] Shadowcaller: (Preapared to leave at any moments notice thought.)
[22:39] Shadowcaller: *prepared
[22:39] Hope: Hope treats the wounded from the skirmish.
[22:41] Murska: So, Windwalker could catch the enemy or just trail them.
[22:42] Hope: He wants to watch them while incorporeal.
[22:43] Murska: They're riding in a line. Not particularly fast, but a good pace nonetheless.
[22:44] Hope: Can he identify who is in charge?
[22:45] Murska: The guy who's riding first in the line. Same guy who spoke, although he probably wouldn't recognize him.
[22:46] Hope: Does he appear to be giving orders or discussing things at the moment? Or just riding?
[22:47] Murska: They're just riding.
[22:49] Hope: Then he reports this to Aegnor. /Do you want me to attack them?/
[22:49] Murska: /Do you think you can take them all out?/
[22:49] Hope: (does he?)
[22:50] Shadowcaller: (Are you asking me?)
[22:50] Murska: (No, according to his performance in previous fights.)
[22:51] Hope: /I could probably kill their mounts, and take out a few of the men, but not all of them./
[22:52] Murska: /Then it's better not to./
[22:54] Hope: He growls a bit in Aegnor's mind. /I want their blood./
[22:56] Murska: /Better deal a real blow the first time you reveal yourself than waste it on something inconclusive./
[22:57] Hope: /Very well. I will trail them and see if I can learn their plans./
[23:00] Hope: Simone approaches Aegnor and Cessie (since Hope is healing): "Maybe we can use the traps we get off witchar."
[23:01] Shadowcaller: "What traps do you have Simone?"
[23:01] Hope: "Like what trap Mr Naib."
[23:01] Hope: "Also a gem that makes thunderbolt."
[23:02] Shadowcaller: "Sounds useful. The question is where we should plant them, do you think they work on a camel?"
[23:02] Murska: 'Maybe they'd be best used once we know what we'll need them against.'
[23:03] Shadowcaller: "Yeah, we should save them as long as we can."
[23:05] Shadowcaller: "Lets just place out wolfen guards, their night vision should prove useful here."
[23:07] Murska: Windwalker follows the camel riders for quite a while. They look noticeably tired once the telltale signs of an oasis finally appear on the horizon.
[23:08] Hope: Which direction is this oasis compared to the direction the villagers are going?
[23:08] Murska: To the side, a bit behind.
[23:09] Murska: (The timelines have diverged again; once the army-oasis is seen it's already been dark for a while.
[23:10] Hope: Back at the camp, Seren is even more withdrawn and silent than usual.
[23:10] Shadowcaller: (Do anyone notice this? Often you don't notice persons in this mood.P)
[23:11] Hope: (Is Cessie going to go and talk to him about magical defense?)
[23:12] Shadowcaller: (Yeah.)
[23:12] Shadowcaller: (Just let me finish the S.E.U. update.)
[23:13] Hope: (okay)
[23:13] Hope: How does the healing go?
[23:14] Murska: The one who was impaled was dead before Hope or anyone else could get to him, but the rest she heals quite easily. Does she use her new powers?
[23:14] Hope: Not unless she needs to. She doesn't want to be drained.
[23:16] Hope: I guess back to Windwalker's timeline…
[23:17] Hope: Is there anyone else at the oasis?
[23:17] Murska: As they approach, he sees a medium-sized military outpost on it's edge.
[23:17] Murska: It's got a palisade around it, which is very unusual in a desert.
[23:19] Hope: eep
[23:20] Hope: He reports this to Aegnor and continues to follow, to see if he can overhear their plans.
[23:22] Murska: They ride inside through the gate which is opened for them. Inside, there are tents in neat rows, a smaller gate on the back of the palisade, one small-ish but still large enough for a desert wooden tower and a single stone building. Also, soldiers.
[23:26] Hope: (Link: http://ihasahotdog.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/funny-dog-pictures-regret-realize.jpg?w=492&h=471)http://ihasahotdog.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/funny-dog-pictures-regret-realize.jpg?w=492&h=471
[23:26] Hope: Does Derek report to anyone?
[23:27] Murska: The others ride through the small gate, he hands his camel to another soldier and heads for the big stone building.
[23:28] Hope: (nice update)
[23:28] Hope: *Continue to follow*
[23:28] Shadowcaller: (Thank you >.>)
[23:30] Hope: *poke*
[23:31] Hope: (either of you)
[23:31] Shadowcaller: (Now you can vote >.>)
[23:31] Shadowcaller: Cessie goes to talk with Seren then.
[23:31] Murska: Yeah, he enters the building and heads to a desk with another, older, man sitting behind it.
[23:32] Hope: (not me. I'm hiding day one >.> )
[23:32] Murska: Next he gives a report on what they found. Talking about a large group of escaped slaves with good weaponry, quite organized and seemed to have some sort of magical assistance.
[23:33] Hope: (Damn it… we should have killed them all)
[23:33] Hope: (somehow…)
[23:34] Murska: You two converse at this point, they start discussing plans on how to deal with you with a third guy.
[23:35] Shadowcaller: Where is Seren anyway?
[23:35] Hope: Seren is in the camp, packed and prepared to leave, but sitting by himself.
[23:36] Shadowcaller: SHe walks up to him then "Greetings, how are you?"
[23:38] Hope: "Ready, I suppose. Dal is with his family."
[23:39] Shadowcaller: (Wait, lets assume that was telepathy >.>)
[23:39] Shadowcaller: /I don't think you like the prospect of living in the middle of the desert much./
[23:41] Hope: /It's no worse than the forest./
[23:42] Shadowcaller: /Your alive at least, your friends wren't so lucky./
[23:42] Shadowcaller: *weren't
[23:43] Shadowcaller: /Just to try to make the best of the situation okay? You will be stuck here for a while after all./
[23:43] Hope: /I didn't bring them here. You believe me, don't you?/ His mental tone is defensive and a bit frightened.
[23:44] Shadowcaller: /I never suspected you did Seren, the geas should prevent you from doing that. Is there someone who have accused you for that?"
[23:45] Hope: /Not to my face./
[23:45] Shadowcaller: /Well, I belive you and so should they./
[23:46] Shadowcaller: /You can prove it by helping me with magical defense around this temporary camp./
[23:47] Hope: /I will… I want to help./
[23:47] Hope: /I keep thinking of Dal. What would happen to him./
[23:48] Shadowcaller: /I'm glad you are getting along so well considering everything…/
[23:49] Hope: /Considering what I used to be?/
[23:50] Shadowcaller: /Yes, its a big improvment in my opinion thought…/
[23:51] Hope: /I think everyone here hates me. Except Dal, and you./
[23:52] Shadowcaller: /I don't think thats true, I'm sure you have managed to turn some of them to your side by now./
[23:54] Shadowcaller: /They will learn to accept you eventually./
[23:56] Shadowcaller: /Now, do you know anything about magical defense?/
[23:57] Hope: /When I helped with the ambush, I didn't need the geas for that. I was just doing what had to be done. But this… a few months ago, I was on the other side./
[23:59] Shadowcaller: /These people aren't slavers. They… well I guess its about the same thing, but you simply have to learn to live with it. No matter how strange it might feel. You have a village to protect now Seren./
[00:00] Shadowcaller: /I'm mostly good with offensive magic, the only really defensive magic I got is from your ring./
[00:01] Hope: (darn it… now i have to try and invent spells for him… )
[00:01] Hope: (Any ideas?)
[00:02] Shadowcaller: (Senteries? magical alarms that is.)
[00:03] Hope: *goes to find dnd book*
[00:03] Shadowcaller: (Yeah, thats the best way:P)
[00:04] Shadowcaller: (While your at it, try make up a few spells for Cessie too >.>)
[00:07] Hope: (search roll failed…)
[00:07] Shadowcaller: (Aww..)
[00:07] Shadowcaller: (Rope trick?:P)
[00:08] Shadowcaller: (Link: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/spells)http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/spells
[00:10] Shadowcaller: (I guess he could makes hole in the ground…)
[00:11] Shadowcaller: (Gas type of spells? Cloud of bewilderment?)
[00:12] Shadowcaller: (COnfusion? Symbole of pain?)
[00:12] Hope: /The shielding could be larger and stronger, but I can't cover the entire camp. If we had some way to bottleneck them maybe…/
[00:12] Shadowcaller: (Explosive runes?:P)
[00:13] Shadowcaller: /We can't be too sure until our scout reports back, is there anything else you could set up? Such a large field seems to be a bit weak due its sheer size./
[00:19] Hope: (player is completely out of ideas.)
[00:20] Shadowcaller: (use the INTERNET!)
[00:20] Hope: (it isn't helping)
[00:20] Hope: (Link: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/mindFog.htm)http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/mindFog.htm
[00:21] Hope: (I didn't know there was a spell that did that….)
[00:21] Shadowcaller: (You didn't?)
[00:21] Shadowcaller: (It was used in oots once >.>)
[00:22] Shadowcaller: (Lets say he can use that spell?)
[00:22] Shadowcaller: (Explosive runes would be funny thought
[00:23] Shadowcaller: (Maybe he can use a spell with long csting time?)
[00:23] Hope: (Yeah, but being under the effects of that spell most days means my memory is shockingly poor….)
[00:23] Shadowcaller: *(that would explain why he didn't use it against us when we freed the children from the slavers…)
[00:24] Shadowcaller: (I would say symbol of pain or some type of sentries.)
[00:24] Hope: (We hardly need sentries when there's no cover. We'll see them coming.)
[00:25] Shadowcaller: (Still, its night.)
[00:25] Shadowcaller: Plenty of ways of hiding in the sands actually.)
[00:25] Hope: (Then why can't we use them?)
[00:25] Hope: /There's one spell… it's pretty ugly./
[00:25] Shadowcaller: (We aren't trained.P)
[00:25] Murska: (Not to mention, we have a lot of stuff and 200 civilians.)
[00:26] Shadowcaller: (Yeah.)
[00:26] Shadowcaller: /WHat dose it do?/
[00:31] Hope: /It reaches into the mind and saps the will. The victim can still understand what is happening around them, but they can't find the motivation to act on it./
[00:31] Shadowcaller: /As long its not permanent or kills them…/
[00:33] Shadowcaller: /How will it work?/
[00:35] Shadowcaller: /That is, how many targets are there? Is it like hold person?/
[00:35] Hope: /I'd have to leave my body, reach into their minds./
[00:36] Shadowcaller: /Um, okay. Will it be dangerous for you?/
[00:36] Shadowcaller: /How many of their minds can you touch? How close do they need to be?/
[00:36] Hope: (I'm falling asleep…)
[00:36] Shadowcaller: (:S)
[00:38] Shadowcaller: Maybe we should start a bit earlier next time?
[00:38] Murska: yeah
[00:39] Shadowcaller: Well, prepared to be asked as soon as your up again:P
[00:39] Shadowcaller: Sleep time now?
[00:40] Hope: okay… I will be prepared. But I'll also need to rest a lot in preparation for Monday.
[00:40] Shadowcaller: Indeed
[00:40] Hope: Try and help me think of stuff for Seren. I was all prepared for his emotional reaction to the events. Hadn't occured to me at all to think up spells.
[00:42] Shadowcaller: Eh, I don't think he got that many different spells…
[00:42] Shadowcaller: He used dispel magic, stun person, invisibility, fire ball…
[00:43] Shadowcaller: Not much else
[00:43] Shadowcaller: Then he can have spells with casting time such as the one you suggested
[00:43] Hope: Yeah. Or that have other drawbacks. He wouldn't want to leave his body if he were fighting for his life, after all.
[00:44] Shadowcaller: Mhm
[00:44] Murska: haha
[00:45] Murska: I got Fascism and my great general
[00:45] Murska: is Ivan the Terrible
[00:45] Shadowcaller: :P
[00:46] Hope: (So you playing humans or computers?)
[00:46] Murska: Computers
[00:46] Shadowcaller: Well, Happy and me better get some sleep now
[00:46] Murska: Earth18
[00:46] Shadowcaller: Hm, could you fix a Cessie avatar to me Happy? >.>
[00:47] Hope: I thought of it being a spell that hit the pain center of the mind, but that seems like the kind of thing Hope could do instead.
[00:47] Hope: What do you have in mind?
[00:47] Shadowcaller: Well, her bascially:P
[00:47] Shadowcaller: Yeah, would be intresting if Hope could harm with her magic too
[00:47] Murska: She can. And did, once already. :P
[00:47] Hope: but how would it be different than the one I did before?
[00:48] Shadowcaller: What did you do before+
[00:48] Shadowcaller: *?
[00:48] Murska: these turns are taking a bit long
[00:48] Murska: I should drop more of the enemies
[00:48] Shadowcaller: The undead magic thing…
[00:48] Hope: (Link: http://public4.tektek.org/img/av/0903/d30/1148/da29911.png)http://public4.tektek.org/img/av/0903/d30/1148/da29911.png
[00:49] Shadowcaller: Hm, yeah. But you said you would make it different this time
[00:49] Hope: More upper class I think
[00:49] Hope: less peasanty
[00:50] Shadowcaller: Yeah, she is very keen to not look like everyone else
[00:50] Shadowcaller: Which is quite easy here
[00:50] Shadowcaller: But at home she preferes black dresses that are quite uncommon at home
[00:51] Shadowcaller: *in Hestopia
[00:53] Shadowcaller: Most people there perefere white since its associated with Artaris
[00:54] Shadowcaller: And Cessie hates going with the crowd
[00:54] Hope: it's hard to find long sleeve choices on tektek
[00:54] Shadowcaller: She wants to be unique, not as everyone else
[00:54] Hope: would she still cover her arms in this weather?
[00:54] Shadowcaller: Yeah:P
[00:55] Shadowcaller: She won't move a inch
[00:57] Shadowcaller: And its really not *that* warm yet
[00:58] Shadowcaller: Besides, the best way is to have airy clothes, not the lack of them out in the desert
[00:58] Murska: 'yet' hehehehe
[00:58] Shadowcaller: >.>
[00:59] Hope: poor girl. you think she would have learned by now how nice it feels to have a lover run his hand down your arm.
[00:59] Shadowcaller: Well she is not that experienced yet. And its tradition really
[01:01] Shadowcaller: She is very upper class after all, they aren't supposed to show off anything except in bed:P
[01:02] Hope: Yes, but having your arm touched doesn't look like anything naughty.
[01:02] Shadowcaller: Tell that to them >.>
[01:03] Shadowcaller: Traditions don't make much sense anyway
[01:04] Shadowcaller: So logical arguments are useless:P
[01:06] Hope: considering all the other traditions she's broken
[01:06] Shadowcaller: Like?
[01:06] Hope: necromancy
[01:06] Hope: sex before marriage
[01:06] Shadowcaller: Well she still have her standards >.>
[01:06] Hope: wearing her hair long
[01:07] Murska: Is that the sort of 'smaller to worse infractions' list? :P
[01:07] Hope: yeah, I think so
[01:07] Hope: heh
[01:08] Hope: so 'bare arms in public' would be the worst of the lot
[01:08] Hope: I'll try and find something on this site that might work: (Link: http://roliava.roliana.com/)http://roliava.roliana.com/
[01:08] Hope: tektek has nothing
[01:09] Hope: what is her skin tone and eye color anyway?
[01:09] Shadowcaller: Hey, don't discredit her. She likes to keep principles. SHe didn't really knew about necromancy until she got arested for it and she stil refuses to raise dead
[01:09] Shadowcaller: SHe got quite pale skin
[01:09] Shadowcaller: Blue eyes
[01:15] Hope: (Link: http://www.roliana.com/forums/shop/images/KaratedressBlack.gif)http://www.roliana.com/forums/shop/images/KaratedressBlack.gif
[01:16] Shadowcaller: It got some V-ring…:P
[01:16] Hope: you mean the neck line?
[01:16] Shadowcaller: Yeah, but its harder to see without a head thought
[01:17] Hope: (Link: http://www.roliana.com/forums/shop/images/MonkdressBlack.gif)http://www.roliana.com/forums/shop/images/MonkdressBlack.gif
[01:17] Shadowcaller: Better
[01:17] Shadowcaller: Its baggy, she likes baggy clothes
[01:17] Hope: to get the whole image I have to take a screen shot and upload it somewhere
[01:18] Hope: would she still wear black?
[01:18] Shadowcaller: yeah
[01:18] Shadowcaller: She dose change colors sometimes, but mostly yeah
[01:19] Hope: Hope must look like she runs around naked then
[01:19] Shadowcaller: How much dose Hope wear?
[01:20] Shadowcaller: How warm is this desert anyway? Its still not that far south…
[01:21] Hope: but there's no cloud cover to keep off the heat of the sun
[01:21] Hope: Hope dresses like the picture on her character page
[01:22] Shadowcaller: I figured, maybe she have the air elemental keeping her cold

[01:22] Shadowcaller: Oh, well yeah. But Cessie don't judge her for that of course
[01:22] Shadowcaller: She have her traditions, Hope have hers
[01:24] Shadowcaller: At its kind of what defines civilization for Hestopians, clothes
[01:25] Hope: but she defied tradition enough to wear black instead of white
[01:25] Shadowcaller: Thats not really a tradition, its more of fashion
[01:27] Murska: Shouldn't you two sleep? :P
[01:28] Shadowcaller: We are disscussing important things here >.>
[01:28] Murska: Well, I don't mind… :P
[01:29] Shadowcaller: What is Aegnors opinion anyway?
[01:29] Hope: As a guy, I'm sure he'd love to see Cessie dressed like Hope ;)
[01:29] Hope: (Link: http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/qq40/happyturtle-avs/cessie.png)http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/qq40/happyturtle-avs/cessie.png
[01:30] Shadowcaller: Hm, isn't there anything else she can hold?
[01:30] Shadowcaller: Otherwise it looks perfect
[01:30] Hope: there aren't a lot of choices
[01:30] Shadowcaller: Okay
[01:30] Hope: there's a gold chalice
[01:30] Murska: Clothes don't really matter… after all, they can always be taken off if necessary. :P
[01:30] Hope: haha
[01:31] Hope: Mr HT would hate it if I dressed in baggy shapeless clothes that covered most of my skin
[01:31] Hope: I'd hate it too
[01:31] Shadowcaller: >.>
[01:31] Shadowcaller: Well, she dose wear real dresses too
[01:31] Hope: I like my clothes to fit properly
[01:31] Shadowcaller: Most of the time
[01:32] Hope: define 'real dress'
[01:32] Shadowcaller: The baggy clothes are just for casual
[01:32] Shadowcaller: You know… travel clothes
[01:33] Shadowcaller: Its hard to define >.>
[01:33] Murska: I really don't care what my clothes look like if it isn't some sort of an important happening.
[01:33] Murska: As long as they feel comfortable.
[01:33] Shadowcaller: Indeed
[01:33] Hope: I don't know what would make travel clothes a 'real dress'
[01:33] Shadowcaller: It was a poor choice of words
[01:33] Hope: to me a dress is something I'd put on for a special occassion
[01:34] Hope: i'd never travel in one though
[01:35] Shadowcaller: Baggy clothes were kind of common during the medival era after all
[01:36] Shadowcaller: So its not that strange that Cessie would wear baggy clothes
[01:36] Hope: they were common because buttons hadn't been invented
[01:36] Hope: upper class women were sewn into their clothes by servants
[01:36] Hope: lower class women had to have something baggy enough to pull on
[01:37] Shadowcaller: Yeah, right now she uses a bit lower class clothes
[01:37] Shadowcaller: She left her wardrobe at home^^
[01:37] Hope: And wizard students probably didn't spend an hour getting sewn into their clothing, no matter how upper class they were
[01:38] Shadowcaller: They didn't
[01:38] Shadowcaller: They used simple clothes that easily could be replaced
[01:38] Shadowcaller: Due accidents >.>
[01:39] Murska: Well, if you two are still too tired to IF but not too tired to go to sleep
[01:39] Murska: maybe I oughta sleep. :P
[01:39] Murska: No cleaning tomorrow. ^^
[01:39] Hope: (Link: http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/qq40/happyturtle-avs/cessie2.png)http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/qq40/happyturtle-avs/cessie2.png
[01:39] Shadowcaller: Oh, that looks good
[01:39] Hope: i'm a girly girl… sometimes i get carried away with the dress up games…. >.>
[01:39] Shadowcaller: I still don't see why you are so against Cessies choice of clothes:P
[01:40] Hope: meh, it fits her, I'd just hate wearing it
[01:40] Hope: actually, it's because I used to be a seamstress
[01:41] Hope: well fitting clothing always looks better than baggy
[01:41] Shadowcaller: She dose have fitting clothes, but not for travel
[01:41] Hope: no matter what the size of the person in the clothes
[01:42] Shadowcaller: Such clothes are used at more special occations
[01:42] Shadowcaller: *events
[01:42] Hope: x.x
[01:42] Hope: yeah, I'd like to see what she'd wear in that case
[01:43] Shadowcaller: Well, it be more form fitting, but still covering thought. Like a white or black bale dress, with buttons
[01:44] Murska: I remember something about some fire thing Cessie was going to have a short talk to Aegnor about at some point, by the way. :P
[01:45] Shadowcaller: Yeah, she was going to tell Aegnor about elements
[01:45] Hope: and what would Cessie wear to get married in?
[01:45] Shadowcaller: Some white dress I suppose
[01:45] Shadowcaller: The traditional kind
[01:45] Hope: white wasn't traditional for weddings until the victorian age
[01:46] Hope: so you can make up what Hestopia's traditions would be
[01:46] Shadowcaller: Well in Hestopia you are, like in any civilization judged by the clothes you wear
[01:47] Shadowcaller: If you wear too revealing clothes as a female you are seen as odd
[01:47] Shadowcaller: Or you know…
[01:47] Shadowcaller: Anyhow, silver would be a color used quite a lot
[01:48] Murska: Now that you're both still alive, someone save the log.
[01:49] Shadowcaller: And besides, Cessie was willing to dress up for Aegnor >.>
[01:50] Shadowcaller: Remember back at the tree?
[01:50] Hope: true
[01:51] Hope: except she was dressing up for Pan ^^
[01:51] Shadowcaller: Well, she didn't know that:P
[01:51] Hope: (Link: http://padme-skywalker77.blogspot.com/2007/09/navy-linen-dress-and-shawl-rots.html)http://padme-skywalker77.blogspot.com/2007/09/navy-linen-dress-and-shawl-rots.html
[01:51] Shadowcaller: And if Helenas ideal vision was true, she should not change anyway:P
[01:52] Hope: (Link: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_XUyrp5BXjsc/RkOaDJJPf_I/AAAAAAAAAD4/BKjF6F63H0I/s320/Padme+Loyalist.jpg)http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_XUyrp5BXjsc/RkOaDJJPf_I/AAAAAAAAAD4/BKjF6F63H0I/s320/Padme+Loyalist.jpg
[01:52] Shadowcaller: And that is a very good dress for her
[01:52] Hope: not change to please Aegnor, but change because she feels less of a need to hide herself
[01:53] Murska: Was that vision clothes aswell anyway?
[01:53] Hope: vision?
[01:53] Murska: Helena's
[01:53] Murska: thingy
[01:53] Murska: whatever it was
[01:54] Hope: yeah, she was dressed in flower petals
[01:54] Shadowcaller: That was pans vision >.>
[01:54] Shadowcaller: Darn satys… *mumbles*
[01:54] Murska: Well yeah, but she was a nymph so… *shrug* Whatever.
[01:54] Shadowcaller: *satyrs
[01:55] Hope: Wonder what Xavius is up to now?
[01:55] Shadowcaller: Something else, I think he found something t entertain himself with
[01:55] Shadowcaller: *to
[01:56] Shadowcaller: What was Aegnors ideal visoon of her anyway?
[01:56] Shadowcaller: *version
[01:57] Murska: The way she was when she confessed her love. Happy, less inhibited
