Derim 9

Shadowcaller säger:
So you approach the church, feeling the bond to Karen strain you.
Wolfbane säger:
He pushes against it.
Shadowcaller säger:
He succedes his will save.
Wolfbane säger:
=P
Shadowcaller säger:
(really, if this was DnD game, I would make Maelly make a will save every X round he was 100 meters away from Karen.)
Wolfbane säger:
(Oh, I know)
Shadowcaller säger:
The white claded priests opens the door to him, bowing politely.
Wolfbane säger:
He nods politely and enters.
Shadowcaller säger:
Inside there is a gigantic bonfire in the middle of the 'room' and a hole in the ceeling where the smoke can escape from. Otherwise there aren't any torches, windows or candles. The bonfire is the only light source in this entery hall. You can see a double door leading into some kind of prayer room on the other side. There are priests round the bonfire, praying.
He can see two Bealron demons inside Narisa and another one talking to a gypsy in a dark corner of the room.
Wolfbane säger:
(Narisa was the one who used to be the succubus, right?)
Shadowcaller säger:
(Yes.)
(The other Bealron demon is much larger then she is, about 2 meters in height.)
The priests appears to be lost in their prayers and aren't paying attention to you at the moment.
Wolfbane säger:
He walks over to Narisa if she isn't busy and waits for her to take notice.
Shadowcaller säger:
She isn't praying exactly. Just looking into the fire, she seems to glance at him. "Yes?"
Wolfbane säger:
"I.. wish to know more." His voice probably sounds a bit strained from resisting the bond.
Shadowcaller säger:
"Why?" She asks shortly.
Wolfbane säger:
"Is it wrong to want to learn more about what you change yourself into?"
Shadowcaller säger:
"No… but what is the reason you like to do so?"
Wolfbane säger:
"To learn?" He shrugs. "With what I used to be, it's become a habit to get information."
Shadowcaller säger:
She turns to you, her eyes shines yellow in the dark from the eye holes in her helmet. "Why did you choose this path?"
"Which was the event that made you turn from… wickedness?"
Wolfbane säger:
"I betrayed my Sultan to help defend the group of humans you saw me with against one of his armies. The one a short way from here with Infernals."
Shadowcaller säger:
"What made you want to help them?"
Wolfbane säger:
"I needed them to keep other demons from upsetting the balance in the demon realm. And if they don't listen to me, its likely I won't be able to stop it."
Shadowcaller säger:
"Try to go deeper then that learner, what do you like to save? What makes you feel better inside?"
"Go down to the simple acts."
Wolfbane säger:
"I can't remember. I just don't know what makes me feel better. I didn't /like/ betraying my master, I simply needed to."
Shadowcaller säger:
Narisa looks away "Thats different…"
"It's never easy thought."
Wolfbane säger:
"I lacked the memories to even remember what I was, and now I've changed even more. No, it isn't easy. What made you change?"
Shadowcaller säger:
"…lot of things." She seems to struggle a bit with the words, mumbeling some type of prayer to herself. The word 'truth' is the only one you really can make out. "I heard of Bhaals redemption and how great mortals were… I couldn't belive that I had hurt them. I don't think I ever was into it, I didn't want to feel this constant… lust. It wasn't clear, it wasn't the truth."
"The fire that is the truth." She nods, looking back to you, her eyes seems to shine a bit stronger.

Aegnor har lagts till i konversationen.

Shadowcaller säger:
"Things like us should be punished… mortals are the only truly pure beings."
Aegnor säger:
(hi)
Shadowcaller säger:
(Hello.)
Wolfbane säger:
"Perhaps, but even when they destroy each other?" He only sounds curious, not disagreeing.
Shadowcaller säger:
"Mortals can make misstakes, but they higher nature makes them able to overcome such misstakes." All this sounds like she is reading from a book.
"We can not, the only way we have to the light is to help them defend against the dark ones."
Wolfbane säger:
"And what of their "angels"?"
Shadowcaller säger:
"The angels are…" Narisa pauses "…same as them, higher then us."
Wolfbane säger:
"Even though they hate humans nearly as much as they hate us?"
Shadowcaller säger:
"I don't know much about angels…"
Wolfbane säger:
"I have had two tell me that themselves."
Shadowcaller säger:
(Was that a lie? Lugia didn't exactly hate humans.)
(Don't worry, they can't detect lies)
Wolfbane säger:
(He didn't lie. Lugia said he disliked people barely less than demons and asked why he should help them.)
Shadowcaller säger:
(He didn't, if you checked the Lugia session, then you could see that he really liked them… I mean, he is taking care of a human child and feel responsible for all the humans around the coast. The reason he hates demons is aminly since they attack humans.)
*mainly
Wolfbane säger:
(ah, then I remembered wrong. It was Lugia's mate that said it then?)
Shadowcaller säger:
(Yes.)
Wolfbane säger:
(Ah, retcon it so he said that one told him, not two)
(He has no reason to lie. >.>)
Shadowcaller säger:
"I see… well surely they can make misstakes as well then."
Wolfbane säger:
"Perhaps. I don't mean to question everything, I am merely trying to orient myself."
Shadowcaller säger:
She nods "Understandable… dose it hurt much?"
Wolfbane säger:
"The light? It does hurt constantly, yes."
Shadowcaller säger:
"Good, it's supposed to. The pain will make your mind clearer and is the constant punishment for what we are." Narisa hold her head down and mumbles a prayer.
Wolfbane säger:
He waits for her to finish. "Will it burn for things I can't remember?"
Shadowcaller säger:
"Our existance is a sin, it will burn constantly for us."
Wolfbane säger:
"Even with that. I simply cannot remember what I've done before a few weeks ago. I had been imprisoned. Will I burn for the misdeeds before then even though I am not the same as I was?"
Shadowcaller säger:
She remains silent for a while "I'm not sure."
Wolfbane säger:
"Whoever I was before… I must have done some great good or great evil to be imprisoned there. But I can not remember anything." He pauses. "Nor am I sure I want to."
Shadowcaller säger:
"Great good?" She sounds confused "But you must comfort your past to be truly redeemed. You must face what you were, see all those horrible truths to be able to move on."
Wolfbane säger:
"Whatever it was, it made powerful demons fear me enough to trap me, but useful enough not to kill me right away." He tries to explain. "Whoever was imprisoned isn't the same person /I/ am. /I/ did the misdeeds when I awoke, not him. And He did whatever it was before then, not me. We may be the same body and soul, but different people."
Shadowcaller säger:
"But isn't a bit of him in you?"
Wolfbane säger:
"I don't see how if I can't even remember him. I may not even like who I used to be."
(And he honestly feels this way.)
(Maelstrus is Maelstrus, no one else)
Shadowcaller säger:
"You may have to ask the priests of that… they are more knowlegeable then me."
Wolfbane säger:
"Thank you anyways. I'll be sure to ask. I'm sorry I can't stay too long, but I have to fight my bond just to stay here."
Shadowcaller säger:
"…come back any time. It is important that we, us support each other… to be able to resist."
Wolfbane säger:
"I may do that. Should you need me, I'm sure you'll find me eventually."
Shadowcaller säger:
"You are new, the first weeks might not be very easy to you. Your second test is approaching rapidly, the day of the pheonix."
Wolfbane säger:
"Second test?"
Shadowcaller säger:
Narisas eyes flickers confused "Yes? The day you will be truly reborn, risen from ashes of your old self."
Wolfbane säger:
"This is the first I've heard of it"
