[22:48] Happy: Was Sylvia okay with staying behind?
[22:50] Shadowcaller: Is she going alone?
[22:51] Murska: Stop changing Sern's name around -.-
[22:51] Shadowcaller: Arim wouldn't want her to do that, and Sylvia dosen't really like to be involved in magic or demons
[22:51] Shadowcaller: (Sorry, I seem to forget the name…)
[22:51] Shadowcaller: (FOr some reason…)
[22:51] General Shrimp: Well, if Sylvia was staying behind then…I dunno…I suppose Hector decides to stay with her and keep her company as well.
[22:52] Happy: "It will be okay. Luna is there. And it's the Ithari headquarters."
[22:53] Shadowcaller: Arim looks at her a bit concerned "Well, if your sure…"
[22:54] Happy: "You'll keep Sylvia safe."
[22:55] Shadowcaller: "Eh, yeah." He glances at Sylvia that smiles at him. Arim seems slightly uncomfortable with her recently changed age.
[22:55] General Shrimp: What happened to Sylvia anyway?
[22:56] Shadowcaller: (She decided she wanted to be older, she is mentally older then 14 anyway.)
[22:56] Shadowcaller: (SO she decided to look more her age.)
[22:56] General Shrimp: (…and that age is?)
[22:56] Shadowcaller: (About 18?)
[22:56] General Shrimp: (Right…)
[22:57] Shadowcaller: (SHe was 13-14 before.)
[22:57] General Shrimp: Okay, Hector emerges from his room, walks out into the inn…and kinda stares at Sylvia. "Um…what?"
[22:59] Shadowcaller: She looks at him a bit suprised "Eh.. oh, you look confused."
[22:59] General Shrimp: "Yeah…um…you look different."
[22:59] Shadowcaller: (And I guess Karen goes off to see the wizard!)
[23:00] Wolfbane: (Is he the most wonderful wizard there was? :P)
[23:00] Shadowcaller: "I can change shape Hector… and I'm not a little girl anymore. I'm trying to recover, and the best step is to renew…"
[23:00] Elly: ( *throws water on the Rival Demon Sultan* )
[23:01] General Shrimp: "I, er, I see. I'm sorry, that was just…a bit of a shock."
[23:02] Shadowcaller: Karen enters the room, there is a number of candles lighting it up as the curtains are covering the only window.
[23:02] Shadowcaller: Sylvia smiles "Don't worry, I'm used to being looked at by now."
[23:02] Shadowcaller: "So what do you think?"
[23:04] General Shrimp: "Well…still…by now I really should've come to expect these things. Demons, demon powers, it's all so-" Hector shrugs and sits down. He starts using the healing thingy again. "I'm sure this isn't doing anything…"
[23:04] Happy: Is Luna there?
[23:06] Shadowcaller: Yes, she is sitting down on a chair nearby. As Karen enters room, she turns to you "Hi Karen…" Her tone is very… humble which is unlike her.
[23:07] Shadowcaller: "It's okay Hector… but you still didn't answer my question." Sylvia says, still smiling.
[23:08] General Shrimp: "Hmm? Oh, you look nice." He'd say more, but as usual Gnrlshrimp has failed horribly and can't actually remember what Sylvia looked like, let alone what she looks like now.
[23:09] Happy: "Hi Luna." Karen sits down next to her. I guess one of them has the scrolls and diamond.
[23:10] Shadowcaller: (You have both.)
[23:12] Shadowcaller: Before Luna can reply, as it looks like she was about to, Sern enters the room, he is dressed in very casual clothes, hardlt ones you would except for magic rituals.
[23:13] Shadowcaller: (I never actually gave her a good description. But she have brown hear half-down to her waist… she was descriped as very sensual in her 18 year old form so I guess thats what I have to go with.)
[23:14] Shadowcaller: "Ah, so the second student arrives. Great. We better hurry before Sern needs his body back, don't you think?"
[23:16] Happy: (but that was her demon form. Is she still choosing to look sensual now that she's consciously deciding her looks?)
[23:16] Shadowcaller: (Well, it was sort of a mix, but I guess she have toned it down a bit.)
[23:17] General Shrimp: (Huh, "Nice" sounds kind of accurate then.)
[23:18] Shadowcaller: "Thank you Hector." Sylvia nods "What will you do while your here?"
[23:19] Shadowcaller: "Sure… why not?" Luna replies to Sern rather unconcerned.
[23:19] General Shrimp: "I don't know. I don't really have much to do." Hector shrugs, shifting the healing thingy slightly. "I suppose I should really just rest and use this useless thing as much as possible, in case it is helping."
[23:19] Happy: "Karen nods."
[23:19] Happy: (or without quote marks)
[23:19] Shadowcaller: "Hmph, miss Karen, will you do me the honor of starting?"
[23:20] Shadowcaller: (Is Wren at the inn?)
[23:22] Shadowcaller: "Miss Luna here didn't have the diamond so I must assume you had it." Luna rolls her eyes at 'miss', Karen might notice that Luna still haven't washed her hair.
[23:23] Happy: Karen takes out the diamond. "You haven't explained very much about this. What are the risks? I don't want to turn into a corpse thing."
[23:24] Shadowcaller: "Ah, don't worry about that. It was a concious choice by old Cornbitt, he wanted immortality you see, so he was underway of transforming himself into something neither human or demon."
[23:25] Shadowcaller: "The spells we are going to try here are completely harmless."
[23:25] Shadowcaller: *nor demon
[23:25] Happy: "Are there any other risks?"
[23:26] Shadowcaller: "Not with the spells we are going to try, but you mean overall?"
[23:27] Murska: (that brings to mind, I haven't washed my hair either)

[23:31] Shadowcaller: "Exactly, very simple."
[23:31] General Shrimp: "Yes, I suppose I am."
[23:33] Shadowcaller: "For how long?" Sylvia sounds curious.
[23:34] General Shrimp: "Not very long. I only met her when we were both informed that we were likely to be hunted down and killed by demons. I hated her cowardice to start off with…but it's kind of cute really…and after Goldie…"
[23:36] Shadowcaller: "Okay… I will teach you a very useful spell now, so hang on and listen to my instructions."
[23:37] Elly: Wren glances at Hector, "It's alright…"
[23:37] Happy: Karen listens.
[23:38] Shadowcaller: He takes up a papper from a nearby table and shows it to Karen, "Hold on to the diamond and drawn this sign on the ground, or the door."
[23:38] Shadowcaller: "This is a so called, dragon sign."
[23:40] Happy: "What will it do?"
[23:40] Shadowcaller: "Goldie?" Sylvia asks, soundsing concerned "I- I understand…"
[23:40] Shadowcaller: "Nothing until you have casted the spell on it."
[23:41] Happy: Karen does as he says.
[23:41] General Shrimp: "Sorry, sorry, don't worry about it. But…after what happened to Goldie…well…I couldn't bear it if the same thing happened to Wren." Hector shrugs, walks over to Wren, and tries to pull her into a hug.
[23:42] Shadowcaller: "When you cast the spell, it will drain some of your energy. You will be a bit tired, but thats all. Casting too many spells however, will make you fall asleep, so you need to be aware of your limits."
[23:43] Shadowcaller: As Karen drawns the sign Sern tells her to put her hand on it.
[23:43] Happy: She does so.
[23:44] Shadowcaller: As she dose so Sern tells her a few words that I assume she speaks as well. Karen can feel herself become a bit tired, like her own energy goes into the sign.
[23:44] Shadowcaller: "Perfect, very good."
[23:45] Elly: Wren hugs Hector back, and sighs. "You're the one who keeps trying to get himself killed…"
[23:45] Shadowcaller: Sylvia looks down on the floor as they speak, letting them be alone.
[23:46] Happy: She does so.
[23:46] Shadowcaller: (Where did she make the sign?)
[23:46] Shadowcaller: (She did:P)
[23:47] General Shrimp: "I'm not trying to…I wasn't really expecting the ladder to break so suddenly, you know?" Hector frowns and sits down next to Wren. "I wish I could just hide like you…but if we all hide, it doesn't achieve anything."
[23:48] Happy: On the floor
[23:48] Elly: "Sure it does. If we all hid, then we wouldn't be found."
[23:48] Shadowcaller: "Now no demons can cross that spot, except very powerful ones that will take a lot of damage once they do so."
[23:49] General Shrimp: "Wren…you know what I mean…hiding forever won't stop the demons from hunting us."
[23:50] Happy: "And anyone who holds the gem can do this?"
[23:50] Elly: "…no." Wren sighs, "Always a demon."
[23:51] Shadowcaller: "You can also make the sign on a amulet or any other surface you can think of. But remember that it's worthless if the demon can evade the sign. If worn around the neck for example will only protect a few squares inces of flesh. but the rest of the weares flesh will be vunerable."

[23:52] General Shrimp: "When it's over, Wren, when it's all over…we'll be able to just sit and talk for days…"
[23:52] Elly: She laughs, "Maybe at that old mill?"
[23:53] Happy: "So I could just make these signs all around the city and no demon could cross the borders?"
[23:53] Shadowcaller: "The gem generally only attunes to those who use in a lot, as you are the first to use it since it's last user died, it will attune to you very strongly, the second who use it will not be as strong."
[23:53] Shadowcaller: "Yes, not any weaker dmeons at least."
[23:54] General Shrimp: "I…anywhere, Wren, anywhere. Why the mill, though?"
[23:54] Shadowcaller: *demons
[23:54] Shadowcaller: "Unless they come by air…"
[23:54] Elly: "I don't know… it's somewhere we've beem." Wren shrugs. "Didn't like it?"
[23:55] Happy: "If they can cross it by air, why can't they cross this on the floor by stepping over it?"

[23:55] General Shrimp: "Well, you know, home would be nice as well. We did have to pack up and go rather quickly…"
[23:55] Shadowcaller: "As I said, the sign protects a small area."
[23:55] Elly: "There wasn't much there, anyway…"
[23:56] Shadowcaller: "If the demon can go over or around that area, well…"
[23:56] General Shrimp: "We could always visit the mill at some point. I don't know what I'm going to do after this…but no more fighting…that's for sure."
[23:56] Happy: "Doesn't seem very useful then.

[23:57] Shadowcaller: "I would say so, on a amulet, a bridge…"
[23:57] Shadowcaller: "You would have a lot of personal defence. Think of a full body armor inscribes by these signs."
[23:58] Shadowcaller: "The protected area is larger the weaker the demons are."
[23:59] Shadowcaller: "And if used on the door to a small room, it protects the whole room, it connects with walls you see."
[00:00] Murska: (I imagine a well-made armor full of those things would be pretty useful for Derek, since his weakness are swarms of smaller things)
[00:00] Happy: "So why isn't it protecting the whole floor?"
[00:01] Shadowcaller: "It dose, the whole floor to this room."
[00:01] Happy: "So a demon couldn't just step over the symbol."
[00:02] Shadowcaller: "Not unless they were very powerful, no. And even then they would take a lot of damage."
[00:02] Happy: "So why isn't it hurting you?"
[00:02] Shadowcaller: "I'm technically not a demon, I'm just possesseing a human body."
[00:03] Shadowcaller: "I have no magic in this form however…"
[00:03] Murska: (ask if it is a physical or mental barrier and what kind of damage does it do?

[00:13] Shadowcaller: "Great, since now we are going to summon something…"
[00:13] Shadowcaller: "Few knows that the Ithari head quarters are built upon a demon gate."
[00:14] Shadowcaller: "In fact, this was once the temple of a cult that ruled Derim."
[00:15] Shadowcaller: "We are going to summon a Bealron demon, and if we are lucky, it might even decide to serve you."
[00:15] Happy: "Wh-what?"
[00:16] Shadowcaller: "Oh, don't be afraid. Bealron demons are nice, good even."
[00:16] Shadowcaller: Sern smiles and gestures towards the room he came from "Just follow me, I ensure you that you are in no danger."
[00:16] Shadowcaller: Luna glances at Karen and shrugs.
[00:18] Happy: They follow then.
[00:18] Shadowcaller: They do, inside is a huge circle drawn up, it looks quite complicated.
[00:19] Shadowcaller: "I have already prepared for this, so the only thing you need to do is to cast the spell while you touch the circle."
[00:19] Happy: "You know if this is some elaborate trap, my father will kill you, right?"
[00:20] Shadowcaller: "I would be killed by hundreds of demon hunters… don't worry, this isn't a trap."
[00:21] Shadowcaller: "I wouldn't sacrifice my position here just to kill you miss, I fear that you might be overestimating your importance a bit."
[00:22] Happy: "How am I supposed to know how a demon thinks? I've been told they want us dead."
[00:24] Shadowcaller: "I don't want you dead miss, I personally find voilence quite revolting."
[00:24] Happy: "Okay. What is the spell?"
[00:25] Shadowcaller: "Speak these words and touch the circle…" Marduk says a number of words.
[00:25] Shadowcaller: That you don't quite understand.
[00:25] *** General "Creme Eggs!" Shrimp has left the conversation.
[00:27] Happy: She has him repeat it until she's sure she can do it correctly.
[00:28] Shadowcaller: And the circle glows lightly once she got it correct…
[00:28] Happy: She watches, warily.

[00:31] Wolfbane: THe light flares brightly and begins to fade. Once her eyes readjust, there is a heavily armored figure kneeling in the center of the circle, a flickering blue light shining through the gaps in the plates. It says nothing, but looks around at its new surroundings.
[00:32] Shadowcaller: "Oh dear, looks like you succeded, what a intresting example…"
[00:34] Happy: Karen says nothing.
[00:34] Shadowcaller: Luna just raises an eyebrow "…how many of those can you summon?"
[00:37] Shadowcaller: "A very limited amount I'm afraid. The target must be willing first of all and the ritual takes hours to complete."
[00:37] Shadowcaller: "Plus a few other expanses…"
[00:38] Shadowcaller: "Why don't you say something to it Karen, it's 'your' summon after all."
[00:39] Happy: "Who are you?"
[00:42] Wolfbane: The demon looks at her before kneeling and bowing it head. "I believe you know me, and I have come to redeem myself for my sins and evils."

[00:43] Happy: "…no…" Karen backs away in horror, nearly dropping the gem.
[00:45] Shadowcaller: Luna looks at the demon oddly, placing herself between it and Karen. "Stay back whatever you are… can we banish it?" She asks, glancing at Sern.
[00:46] Shadowcaller: "Yes, of course, just touch the circle again and say these words…" Marduk says a few words again.
[00:47] Happy: "What happens then?"
[00:47] Shadowcaller: "What is it?" Luna whispers to Karen, looking concerned.
[00:47] Shadowcaller: "It goes back to wherver it came from."
[00:47] Shadowcaller: Sern answers.
[00:47] Happy: "It's the demon who changed Sylvia."
[00:48] Shadowcaller: "What?!" Luna bursts out, looking back at the demon inside the circle, suprised.
[00:49] Wolfbane: He nods to her. "It is true, yes."
[00:49] Shadowcaller: "You got quite the nerve…"
[00:50] Murska: (keeeeeel eeet!)
[00:50] Murska: (it's right there!)
[00:51] Wolfbane: "She called, and I answered. I am here to serve until I redeem myself. And if I can't redeem myself, then I am to serve until the end of days."
[00:52] Happy: "He's bound to serve me?"
[00:52] Shadowcaller: Luna raises an eyebrow looking sceptical. "End of days huh?"
[00:53] Shadowcaller: "Well, as he apperently accepted… yes." Sern says.
[00:53] Happy: "And if I banished him, then he'd be free again."
[00:54] Shadowcaller: "Thats correct."
[00:54] Happy: "Can I order him to kill himself?"
[00:55] Shadowcaller: "Thats one of the few orders you can't order him to do. I can give you the exact contract later if your intrested."
[00:56] Happy: "Luna, can you go and find my father and bring him here?"
[00:57] Wolfbane: He tilts his head. "I wouldn't recommend killing me at all. You would die and I would have no say in the matter."
[00:57] Shadowcaller: Luna glances at Karen "…sure."
[00:58] Happy: "Why is that?"
[00:58] Shadowcaller: Sern looks neutral, almost bored "Thats also correct. Once a Bealron dies, it releases a huge amount of magical energy that finds and slays it's killer."
[00:58] Shadowcaller: "It's the burning light, revenge."
[00:59] Shadowcaller: Luna goes to get Derek.
[00:59] Murska: (Luckily this is a deceiver demon instead of a bealron one)

[01:00] Wolfbane: (Oh, no, the summoning only worked on Bealrons <.<)
[01:00] Murska: (then he isn't actually bound by any contract and Marduk is lying)

[01:16] Shadowcaller: "Ah, the hunter returns. It seems like your daugther ran into a problem here, this can't have been the pure hearted demon she had intended."
[01:17] Shadowcaller: Sern says, glancing at Derek as he enters the room, looking slightly bored.
[01:17] Murska: 'What's this then?'
[01:17] Shadowcaller: *pokes others*
[01:18] Elly: ( Murr? )
[01:18] Happy: "I don't know what to do," Karen says. "If I banish it, then it's free again. But I can't kill it."
[01:19] Murska: 'Bealron…' Derek walks closer and turns to Sern. 'You, what's going on?'
[01:20] Shadowcaller: "Your daughter was supposed to summon a Bealron demon…" Sern glances at the demon in the circle "But something must have gone wrong appernetly."
[01:21] Murska: 'Summoning…' Derek sighs. 'So, what does it mean now?'
[01:22] Shadowcaller: "The spell is supposed to summon the closest willing Bealron demon in the area… and since he have accepted the bounding, it means that he now serves her."
[01:22] Murska: 'How exactly?'
[01:23] Shadowcaller: "He obeys her orders, he can't harm her… not that a Bealron demon would have been able to do that anyway, but it can't hurt her extra much now."
[01:23] Shadowcaller: "It will follow every command, except such ones as suicide and similar actions."
[01:24] Murska: 'Similar how?'
[01:24] Shadowcaller: "Homicidal actions, such as trying to swallow a knife…"

[01:36] Murska: 'And there's no way it could be faking this, is what you're saying?'
[01:37] Shadowcaller: "No, it shouldn't be. At least not to my knowledge."
[01:37] Murska: 'Can it be ordered to obey any orders, even suicidal ones?'

[01:38] Wolfbane: "No. And you don't want to kill me. Or even /cause/ my death."

[01:40] Happy: "I don't know what to do," Karen says.
[01:41] Murska: 'We'll question it and if we really can't find a way to kill it we'll just banish it.'
[01:41] Murska: He turns back to Sern. 'Is there a way to trap it somewhere then?'
[01:42] Wolfbane: "If you banish me, you'll only be sending me back where I came from." (right?)
[01:42] Shadowcaller: "Trap it? That would end the bounding." (Yes.)
