Cessie 02

[18:16] Murska: Elvish lesson?
[18:16] Murska: of the day after the nightmare
[18:16] Shadowcaller: Sure
[18:16] Murska: so she can ask about the unknown word
[18:17] Shadowcaller: It was the only word she really heard?
[18:17] Murska: She heard a lot of words but couldn't make them out.
[18:18] Shadowcaller: But she could make that one out?
[18:18] Murska: Barely, and only because she heard it multiple times
[18:18] Shadowcaller: Okay
[18:18] Shadowcaller: sec
[18:20] Murska: Aegnor heads to her the next day after they've stopped travelling, entering their tent. 'Hey there.'
[18:21] Shadowcaller: back
[18:22] Shadowcaller: She grins "Hey there lover."
[18:23] Hope: (*poofs for now*)
[18:23] Murska: 'I thought we could set some time aside for some more elvish lessons, if you want.'
[18:24] Shadowcaller: "Of course, I'm done with magic for today anyway." She closes the book she have been studying.
[18:26] Murska: He sits down near her. 'So, what have you learnt from the villagers after the last lesson?' (do we RP this or skip until the part where some meaningful-to-plot conversation happens?
[18:26] Shadowcaller: (Hmm…)
[18:27] Shadowcaller: (I guess.)
[18:27] Murska: (Which? :P)
[18:28] Shadowcaller: (The skip.)
[18:28] Murska: (Well, does she take it up?)
[18:28] Shadowcaller: Yeah, she mentions wierd elvish words said to her.)
[18:28] Shadowcaller: (She notes on a perticular word.)
[18:29] Murska: He translates the words and tries to help her pronounce them one at a time
[18:30] Shadowcaller: She is not really good on pronouncing words, but is slowly learning
[18:32] Murska: Once she has no more words to ask, he says: 'We should practice the pronounciation today.'
[18:32] Murska: *pronunciation*
[18:33] Shadowcaller: "There was a word in the dream that I didn't really understand."
[18:33] Murska: 'What dream?'
[18:34] Shadowcaller: (I thought I said she mentioned it?)
[18:34] Shadowcaller: (Lets say she dose that now then.)
[18:34] Murska: (Hm? She mentioned weird elvish words said to her, I assumed by villagers)
[18:34] Shadowcaller: (Well, you assumed wrong:P I should have been clearer.)
[18:35] Shadowcaller: "I had a dream last night…"
[18:35] Shadowcaller: (there we go.)
[18:35] Murska: (better. :P)
[18:35] Shadowcaller: "It was a lot of wierd elvish words uttered to me."
[18:36] Shadowcaller: "Didn't make much sense. I don't usually have dreams."
[18:36] Murska: 'Odd.'
[18:36] Shadowcaller: "There was one word that were uttered quite some time, -word- any idea what it means?"
[18:38] Murska: 'Hmm.' He says two words with slightly differing pronunciations. 'One of those?' It was the second one.
[18:39] Shadowcaller: "The second."
[18:39] Murska: 'That means 'help'. I wonder…'
[18:40] Shadowcaller: "Help? How very odd…"
[18:41] Shadowcaller: "Anyway, how well do you think I'm progressing?"
[18:41] Murska: 'Faster than I would have expected.'
[18:42] Shadowcaller: She smiles "Really? I thought I was slow…"
[18:43] Shadowcaller: "Still some time before I can fully speak it thought right? It seems like such a rich language."
[18:45] Shadowcaller: "Even my common is missing a few words…"
[18:46] Murska: 'Yeah. Languages aren't learned very quickly… that is, by most people. Simone appears to be an exception.'
[18:46] Shadowcaller: "She isn't speaking them very well sometimes thought."
[18:47] Murska: 'Yeah, but it's amazing how fast she learns them well enough to make do.'
[18:48] Shadowcaller: "She is very young, they learn things quickly."
[18:49] Murska: 'Mm.' He shrugs.
[18:49] Murska: 'Anyway… the pronunciation.'
[18:49] Shadowcaller: (Thought Cessie is quite young too:P)
[18:49] Shadowcaller: "Um, what about it?"
[18:51] Murska: 'It's not good to attempt to remember the correct way to pronounce every single word. You'll need to grasp the flow of the language.'
[18:51] Murska: He switches to elvish. 'A man walks in a forest.'
[18:52] Shadowcaller: She slowly repeats after him-
[18:53] Murska: His voice is in an almost singing tone, bringing to mind of someone who doesn't know what the words mean the flowing of a stream. He repeats the sentence one more time. 'Now, don't try to consciously pronounce it right, just follow what I said…' /common
[18:55] Shadowcaller: "Err.. okay, its like singing then?"
[18:56] Shadowcaller: "It sounded a bit like it, I never really been good with the spoken word."
[18:56] Murska: 'It's a bit like it…'
[18:56] Shadowcaller: "I try to see it as that then."
[18:57] Murska: He puts a hand on her arm. 'I know you can do it, go on.'
[18:57] Shadowcaller: She smiles and takes his arm, "Repeat it again please."
[18:57] Murska: He does so.
[18:58] Shadowcaller: She triest o follw the best way she can, it almost sounds as she is singing
[18:59] Shadowcaller: *to
[18:59] Shadowcaller: *follow
[19:00] Murska: 'Better. Try again?'
[19:00] Shadowcaller: She repeats what she just sang/said, a bit faster this time
[19:01] Murska: He smiles at her. 'Good!'
[19:01] Shadowcaller: "Thanks… you are a very good teacher."
[19:03] Murska: 'Now, try this…' He speaks some common sentences they've used before.
[19:03] Shadowcaller: She follows his words to the point
[19:04] Shadowcaller: A bit more freely then she used to
[19:05] Murska: He tries that one more time, then says a few sentences she knows(all about forests, btw) in common, asking her to translate.
[19:07] Shadowcaller: She dose so, she almost say one of them wrong, but corrects herself later. Two of the words are incorrectly pronounced. She still got a major common accent that is to be expected
[19:10] Murska: He helps her with it. Time passes with mostly the same sentences, as he subtly tries to help her to try it more freely and happily congratulates her every time she gets it right.
[19:10] Murska: A bit later, he links them together and sings most of them in a row, asking her to repeat.
[19:11] Shadowcaller: She dose so
[19:11] Shadowcaller: This seems to work very well with her, she follows him quite quickly
[19:12] Murska: After that latest one, he gives her a wide grin. 'Oh, I knew it.'
[19:13] Shadowcaller: "Knew what?" She asks with a shy tone
[19:15] Murska: 'That you're such a great singer.' He's still grinning. 'That just might have coincidentally been the first verse of this one travel song in elvish…'
[19:17] Shadowcaller: She blushes, but don't seem to bothered by Aegnors comment "Thanks… I never seen myself as one, but I guess you have discovered more then one hidden talent in me…"
[19:18] Shadowcaller: "Sometimes I wonder if I really deserve you."
[19:19] Murska: He hugs her. 'You? I've wondered how someone like me can find someone like you. I'm just trying to do my best to be worth it.'
[19:21] Shadowcaller: She smiles and looks at him almost sadly "Your so nice to me, I would have been so alone without you…"
[19:23] Murska: 'I'm so glad I found you…' His voice is a bit subdued, his eyes glisten.
[19:25] Shadowcaller: Cessie blinks, for a moment it would like she had fell a tear but instead she just grins "Ugh, I'm so silly, you shold not follow my emotional outbursts Aegnor."
[19:26] Murska: 'Don't say that. I wholeheartedly thank you for said emotions.' He smiles a bit again.
[19:29] Shadowcaller: "Your welcome I guess…" She pauses and then tries to change the subject "I still won't be a greater singer then you thought."
[19:29] Murska: 'You could be…'
[19:30] Shadowcaller: She looks suprised "Really? You really think so? I could never imagine I could sing as beutiful as you."
[19:32] Murska: 'Honestly?' He looks a bit more serious. 'You have the potential, but only if you want to, and practice it.'
[19:32] Shadowcaller: "I could?… Um, how would that work?"
[19:35] Murska: He looks a bit surprised. 'You really would? Mostly it's learnt by doing…'
[19:36] Shadowcaller: "I am a bit busy with magic and elvish and all… but if I got some time over, yeah."
[19:36] Shadowcaller: "The more skills you got…"
[19:37] Murska: He hugs her more tightly, with a happy smile. 'Yeah.'
[19:38] Shadowcaller: "If I had know it made you *this* happy…" she hugs him back
[19:40] Shadowcaller: "Would we have time with it then?"
[19:42] Murska: 'We will.' He thinks for a moment. 'At least at some point. When we've stopped travelling.'
[19:43] Shadowcaller: "Okay, looking forward to it." She winks and grins at him
[19:43] Murska: He smiles. 'Me too.'
[19:45] Shadowcaller: "So, should we continue the lessons?"
[19:46] Murska: He lets go of her. 'Of course.'
[19:46] Murska: And so they do, the dream forgotten, at least by Aegnor.
[19:47] Shadowcaller: Was it a normal dream? People tend to forget normals dreams pretty quicky
[19:47] Shadowcaller: At least the details
[19:47] Shadowcaller: If it was a supernatural dream then yeah, she will remember it
[19:49] Murska: Well she remembers it, but it's not like she can't forget about it. It's just like one of those kinds of normal dreams which you do remember. I usually remember nothing but I do have two small pieces of a dream I still remember after years.
[19:51] Shadowcaller: Well, she is the person that easily forgets such things in the loads of magic notes she got in her head and other stuff. She can be a bit absentminded. But if this was not some ordinary dream she will remember it since she would think it as "special"
[19:51] Murska: It felt odd. Unlike a dream, but she can't quite figure out why.
[19:52] Shadowcaller: Then she will remember it
[19:54] Shadowcaller: So, now I will take a shower, that was quite some conversation they had o.O
[19:54] Murska: :)
[19:54] Shadowcaller: I guess Aegnor become very happy about it?:P
[19:55] Murska: Yup.
[19:55] Murska: He hasn't talked to Cessie about music in a while, since he wished she'd do it if she wanted, and didn't want to push her if she didn't.
[19:56] Shadowcaller: And he was plesantly suprised

[19:57] Murska: :)
